It had only been an hour since they had arrived at the house, which they had to clean out. All four of them had been shocked once they entered the room, not even the Chois had ever been there. However, the Chois had been a bit more prepared for how it would look, compared to what Jungwon had been prepared for.
Jiyeon had immediately realized how Jungwon had reacted, and had grabbed his hand in hers, giving it a small squeeze before tugging him with her inside.
The four of them had been quick to spread out to going through things. Jiyeon had went with her mom to clean out the bookshelf in the living room, meanwhile Jiseok had taken Jungwon with him to clean out the kitchen cabinets.
There was an open space between the living room and the kitchen, so the four of them could easily see each other if something was to turn up.
Still affected by the shock of the house, Jungwon couldn't help but continue to glance over at Jiyeon whilst she talked with her mom and cleaned out the bookshelf at the same time.
"You really care, don't you?" Jiseok spoke up, making Jungwon look to him with raised eyebrows, "you're not that slick with looking at her," Jiseok let out a small laugh.
"Sorry," Jungwon excused and turned back to the cabinet he was emptying.
"No, it's good," Jiseok assured him, "you are her boyfriend afterall. I can't keep on going around and hissing every boy away from her. I would be overworked if I tried," Jiseok let out a small laugh that made Jungwon snicker, "just promise me you won't hurt her again."
"I won't," Jungwon shook his head.
"From the way you look at her, I believe you," Jiseok assured with a nod, "but she's still making me worry."
"Why?" Jungwon frowned towards Jiseok who glanced at him.
"You don't know?" Jiseok questioned in shock.
"I'm not sure," Jungwon shook his head at him with hesitation.
"You had your... can I call it problems?" Jiseok questioned and Jungwon just nodded, "that time back in December you had your problems, and of course she told me about it. I don't know if she's told you, but she's still scared."
"Scared?" Jungwon questioned in shock and looked over towards Jiyeon who clearly was telling her mom about something she was really excited about. Seeing how much she was smiling.
"Yeah," Jiseok nodded and glanced towards his sister, "My sister forgives people easily, no matter what they have done towards her. But she... for a long time she'll still feel scared that things will repeat themselves and overthink everything with that person."
"So... she thinks... she thinks I'll do everything again," Jungwon realized and Jiseok simply nodded at him.
"I don't think she's told you, because she doesn't like the way she thinks. She obviously likes you enough to want to trust you fully, but she stills end up overthinking the smallest things and actions. Even the ones you aren't aware of," Jiseok shrugged.
"Such as what?" Jungwon frowned.
"Lets say... you accidentally ignore her," Jiseok stated and Jungwon immediately nodded, "not that it's something you should stress about accidentally doing, but she would automatically overthink it. Even if it was just because you were distracted or something, she would overthink it. But since you two still are together, I think it's pretty clear that she tries not to overthink with you."
"I didn't even know," Jungwon realized and looked back to Jiyeon, as she was struggling to reach some books from the top shelf, "she never said."
"I didn't expect her to," Jiseok shook his head, "but now you know... and you did not hear it from me. Mental that one, I am telling you."
