Chapter 12

I pulled on my socks and jumped down from my bunk, most of the boys were still sleeping or slowly waking up as I walked out to the kitchen to make breakfast. There was still cameras hung around our dorm to document the time up to our debut, but I had slowly learnt to just ignore them.

I slowly began making breakfast for us. I usually made breakfast for everyone the mornings where I was up before everyone else. On the days where we had to go to school, Heeseung usually slept for longer than us, so I would always put it in boxes for him. I had also made my juice of the day, whilst making breakfast for the boys, so I just went around and sipped on it as I was preparing breakfast for the boys.

As I slowly had more and more breakfast ready I would place it on the table, and when I nearly was done I walked back to the bedroom where I slowly began waking everyone, except Heeseung. The first ones were always Sunghoon and Jay, as they were straight across from the door.

"Hoonie," I called out as I shook Sunghoon's arm, making him slowly stir, "breakfast is ready," I pointed out and he hummed before I looked down to Jay in his bunk, "Jay," I called out this time and pushed his chest slightly, which woke him up, "breakfast is ready," I repeated myself and he just hummed. I then moved onto Sunoo and reached up to pat him on the chest making him immediately hum, "breakfast," I reminded and looked over at Jake as the next victim, "oi, Aussie," I called out to him making him stir, before I reached out and patted the top of his head making him groan, at being woken up, "breakfast," I continued my way over to Niki, and lightly grabbed his shoulder and shook him slightly, "breakfast is ready Niki," I pointed out and he opened one eye and looked up at me before turning around in his bed, "Jay it's you job to get Niki out of bed, he is awake," I pointed out to Jay, who have moved as far as sitting on the edge of his bed as he just nodded, before I moved over to Jungwon.

"I am awake," he muttered to me still with closed eyes.

"Get up then, breakfast is done," I pointed out to him and he hummed before I moved back out to the kitchen once again to finish the breakfast and place it all on the table, as the boys slowly walked in one by one. All of them more soulless then the one before.

They would all eventually begin putting food over on their plates still all looking to be in a sleepy state, as I began preparing their lunches for them. I only did all of this today, because I was up before all of them. Usually if I had woken up to normal time, I would just wake each of them up before getting ready myself.

"Bubs, come and eat," Sunghoon called out to me.

"Just a moment, I'm making your lunch," I pointed out to him.

"Bubs," he called out once more, making me sigh and walk over to him, to eat the piece of meat he had extended towards me, no one said I was gonna follow my diet completely, it was just a small piece of meat afterall, "it's really good."

"Thank you," I replied as I returned to finish making their lunches.

"Noona, why is it that you get all this ready for us?" Niki questioned me in confusion.

"Because I woke up earlier than usual, and had time to do it," I smiled at him, "and I don't mind doing it."

"I think Jiyeon has a bit of a caretaker's gene," Jay commented, "she feels the need to take care of people."

"She would do great in elderly care," Jake commented and I shook my head.

"I'm too shy," I pointed out to him.

"It's true," Jungwon nodded, "our last P.E class, some boys from my class tried to talk to her, and she just couldn't say anything to them. She turned all red. She did manage to say a thank you though, and I applaud her for that."

"You must've been happy then, knowing no one can make a move on her," Sunghoon commented making Jungwon just nod in reply.

"But you do have friends in your class, right?" Sunoo questioned and I nodded as I placed a lid on the six boxes in front of me.

"I'm not completely unable to socialize. I did well at I-land, right?" I pointed out to them and they all nodded, "I just get these periods where I'm really shy around new people, and other periods where I'm really outgoing," I excused before walking over and sitting down at the end of the table beside Jungwon with my juice and continued to sip on it, before the boys began leaving one by one to get ready and changed, until it was only me and Jungwon left.

"Thanks for cooking," he smiled as he stood up and quickly pecked my cheek before moving his dishes over in the sink with the others.

I sat in silence and drank my juice for a while, before walking into the bedroom and grabbing my schoolbag before walking out and placing my bottle in my bag.

"Boys... do we have practice right after school today?" I questioned as I walked out to the bathroom where three of them were brushing their teeth and Sunoo were telling Niki something about skincare, as Jay just stood and tried to put in his contacts.

"Practice is scheduled from 3 pm, but most of us go there after school," Jake pointed out to me with his toothbrush in his mouth.

"Great," I nodded and went out to pack a pair of sweatpants for when we had to train, "good morning," I cooed at Heeseung who sat on the edge of his bed, seemingly dazed in his own world, as he just hummed as a reply, "some of us are going to school soon. Take care during the day."

He silently nodded, making me let out a small laugh at him before going back out and pulling on my sneakers out in the front hall.

"Ji!" Jungwon yelled out as he ran out to me in the front hall, with his bag in hand, to pull on his shoes, "wait for me."

"I'm not going yet," I let out a small laugh at him as I reached up and grabbed my jacket from the coatrack and pulled it on, before throwing my bag over my shoulders.

"Okay... I'm ready," he proudly stood up once again, and I poked my head back into the dorm from the front hall.

"See you all at practice later!" I called out and everyone poked out their heads from the rooms they were in to yell a goodbye to Jungwon and I before we pulled on our facemasks and got out in the car waiting to drive us to school. The company always provided us with a car for when we had to be driven to school.
