Is the Relationship Between Enhypen Members Jiyeon and Jungwon Fake?

Things might look like the relationship between the two members of Enhypen, Choi Jiyeon and Yang Jungwon, is indeed fake. Recent rumours reveal that their relationship is made to cover up the real dating status of the two.
Recent rumours and pictures who Yang Jungwon and Bang Taehee, Lioness, talking with one another at a music show back in December. Meanwhile you can only see Taehee's face it is clear on her face that the two are close.

"I'll stop reading out loud now," Sunoo announced as he barely even were into the first paragraph of the article, before he looked over at Jungwon and I. Sitting in our own ends of the couch. He sat leaned up against Jay, whilst I had gotten seated between Jake and Sunghoon.

"Why? It was getting interesting," I complained to him as I nudged Sunoo's shoulder, reaching over Sunghoon as I did so, "come on, keep on reading."

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Niki spoke up as I just nodded at him.

"I'll need to hear what else she had to say," I urged Sunoo who just glanced at me with an unsure look.

"Don't you still go to school together?" he hesitated at me as I simply shook my head at him.

"I transferred in February," I frowned at him in confusion, "I'm back to Danish High School, through online video classes," I reminded him and he hesitantly nodded, "now read."

"I really don't think I-" Sunoo shook his head making me sigh before grabbing his phone as I continued reading by myself, "Sunny, no!" Sunoo called out as he reached out to grab his phone, "how much did you read?"

"Enough," I sighed at him before slumping back in the couch and covered my face with my hands.

"You... you don't believe what she is saying, do you?" Jungwon spoke up as he looked over at me from beside Jay.

"Of course not," I assured him with a small smile, "it's more what she said about me."

"About you?" Jake gasped as Sunoo jusgt nodded as a reply.

"It wasn't the nicest," Sunoo stated making Jake widen his eyes.

"Read it," Jake's demeanor turned cold in a split second as we all looked at him in shock.

Sunoo hesitated before looking back down at his phone to continue reading.

"Bang Taehee later said in another Vlive; "I don't like how Jiyeon started the rumour that they were dating and laster forced Wonie to make the official statement live with her. I think it's a shame that no one seems to see through her facade and see her real colors, but I guess it's just something only the people around her will know before someone speaks up," Sunoo read making Niki let out a small gasp.

"She didn't..." Niki commented as Sunoo just nodded.

"It doesn't end there," Sunoo pointed out as he continued to read out loud, "Bang Taehee later revealed that she was a victim of mild harrassment by the Enhypen member, Choi Jiyeon, being threatened to stay away from her fellow group member Yang Jungwon. Later stating she was happy they no longer attended the same school."

"This is sickening," Sunghoon commented as he scrunched up his nose, "she is out of her mind. She was the one that harrassed Bubs."

"But we never specified that," Heeseung commented as he stared hard at the wall in front of him, "and now Jiyeon-ie were dragged into a scandal, simply because..."

"Because we're together," Jungwon spoke up in realization.

"Oh come on, that's ridiculous," I called out to him as he just looked over at me.

"She liked me Ji, the reason she went after you was because she knew we were close," he pointed out to me, "and now that she knows I rejected her because I already were with you... it is because we'er together."

"Don't you dare breakup," Jay sternly warned as we looked at him, "neither of you would be able to handle that and it'll just make the situation worse for both of you. Jiyeon would be feeling worse once the backlash reaches her, and then Jungwon would feel terrible at seeing her in the state she'll end it."

"We weren't gonna... were we?" I frowned over at Jungwon who hesitated.

"I don't want you to get into something like this because of me," he excused making my eyes widen at him.

"Nuh-uh, no way. You're not doing that to Bubs," Sunghoon warned him.

"It's because I want to protect her," Jungwon defended as I leaned back in the sofa, staring at the floor with widened eyes as I just sat in my own world.

I didn't listen to what the boys were saying around me, I was too much in deep of thoughts on what to do. How would I prove I had done nothing of the things she accused me of.

"Yah! Choi Jiyeon, are you even there?" a voice called out as someone snapped their fingers in front of my face.

"Huh?" I questioned as I looked up at Jungwon, who had crouched down in front of me, "where'd the boys go."

"They left, we had to speak," he pointed out to me and I just nodded at him, "you get that I want to protect you, right?"

"Mhm," I hummed at him, "but I'll have to prove what she said is wrong."

"I know," he sighed at me.

"Don't you love me anymore?" I questioned him making his eyes widen as he quickly moved over to sit beside me, grabbing my hands in his.

"No, no, no. I love you more than anything. Why would you think like that?" he questioned in a frantic voice as he looked at me with worry.

"You just... seemed so quick and ready to give it all up," I shrugged at him, making him immediately pull me in for a tight hug.

"No, no. I love you so much. I just want to protect you," he excused as he ran a hand through my hair, "I'm so sorry."

"It's just... it won't help anything," I pointed out to him and he pulled back and looked at me, "I'll need to prove what she said is not true. How would I do that if we suddenly weren't together anymore? And who would I lean on when the public got harsh on me?"

"You really think it is the best?" Jungwon questioned as I just nodded at him.

"Unless you really want to end it," I excused to him.

"Of course I don't want to, but if it were the only thing that could be done..." he trailed off, "to protect you from such rumours and scandals."

"Don't," I shook my head at him, "I want you there with me. Please."

His face immediately softened as he looked at me, before grabbing my hand in his once more.

"Okay... then we're gonna get through this together," he nodded at me.
