If It Is You (Y.Jw) [Sequel]

First MC Day

I was handed my MC microphone and my speaking cards before I ran up on stage and stood between my two fellow MCs as we patiently waited to start shooting. I had only just gotten ready for my first performance stage of today. We were performing 'Let Me In' first. so I didn't look all weird in my suit I would wear for 'Given-Taken'. I just wore the black pants and my blue shirt.

"Positions for filming," the director called out and the three of us quickly lifted our speaking cards up to cover our faces, "and we're on air."

"Hello, new MC here. I am Bit from Bae173," Bit started off with introducing himself to the camera.

"Oh? Me as well. This is Alex from Drippin," Alex introduced himself and I removed my speaking cards as well to introduce myself.

"I'm Jiyeon of Enhypen, and I have to keep this together," I finished with a smile to the camera.

"I've heard you two are performing today, is that right?" Alex turned to us and both Bit and I nodded.

"We're performing our debuting title track 'Crush On You' so please look forward to that," Bit winked to the camera.

"And we're performing both our debut title track 'Given-Taken' and our B-Side 'Let Me In'. Which you definitely can look forward to," I pointed out to the camera as well.

"But for today we have an exciting program planned for you. Which you should stick around for. What are we doing today Noona?" Bit turned to me and I happily nodded.

"Today we of course have a lot of good music prepared for you. But most exciting of all we have two major artist interviews. We're gonna have a nice talk with newly debuted girl group Aespa, and Enhypen," I spoke making the two boys nod.

"But I think most exciting of all. We have our MC stage," Alex revealed and I nodded along with Bit.

"That is definitely something to look forward to," Bit nodded in agreement.

"So now lets watch the first stage of the day. This is Aespa," I introduced before the camera cut off and we rushed off stage.

I was rushed back to our dressing room, to finish getting ready for our 'Let Me In' stage, which were just after Aespa. Then after we had performed 'Let Me In' Bit and Alex would go and interview Aespa, whilst I got ready for 'Given-Taken', which were right after once again. After that there were a few acts as I got ready for our MC stage. However, there were the interview with Enhypen right before, which we all would be taking care of. I already knew it was gonna be a chaos.

I quickly performed the two stages with the boys, before being put in the dress I would be wearing for our MC stage. To say the boys were surprised were an understatement. There had literally been a loyd scream from both Sunghoon and Sunoo, once they had seen me in the dress.

"Please do a good job of interviewing us," Jake cooed at me as I were getting ready to leave the dressing room once again, with my microphones and speaking cards.

"No worries," I called back with a wide grin, as my stylist quickly placed a rhinestone by the side of each of my eyes, "ah this is so weird."

"Being an MC?"Jay questioned and I shook my head at him as my stylist let me go.

"Looking all girly," I pointed out to him, making him let out a small laugh.

"Nah... it's cute," Heeseung corrected.

"I have to go," I excused as I could see BAE173 finish up on the monitor.

I quickly ran off and did a small presentation of Kai, who would be on with his solo debut. I was alone about that, so it was quite nervrwracking, but I managed to do it before I was rushed off towards the interviewing station, where I waited for Bit to show up as well.

"Ready noona?" Bit beamed towards me and I nodded before being handed our interview cards.

"They're gonna be a mess," I warned him with a small laugh.

"Ah, then it'll be fun," he grinned widely and I nodded at him with raised eyebrows, "ah, I'm nervous," he complained with a small sigh.

"Don't be," I assured him with a pat on the head, "they're not that threatening. They're weird," I pointed out to him and he let out a small laugh.

"Ah, where is Alex?" he complained as he looked around after the taller boy.

"I'm here, I'm here," Alex ran up to us, "I got caught up in the cafeteria."

We both glanced at him before letting out a laugh together, desperately trying to compose ourselves again.

"Enhypen are here!" a staff member called out as Jungwon, Sunghoon, Heeseung and Niki walked forward and stepped up on the small podium that were set up for them, "MCs to position."

The three of us quicky lined up as we had lined up earlier, with me in between the two boys.

"Who stands on which side?" Bit questioned as he looked at Alex and I.

"The two of us stands there, we're outnumbered," Alex explained and pointed over towards the left side of the podium.

"Shouldn't we change position then?" I questioned him and he just waved it off.

"Jiyeon-ie?" Heeseung called out and I looked over my shoulder with raised eyebrows, making him immediately give me two thumbs ups, "doing great."

"Duh," I cheekily replied, making him let out a small laugh.

"He is jealous," he whispered before holding up a hand and pointing towards it, gesturing to Jungwon, who stood in his own world with his microphones.

"I know," I nodded at him, "tough for him."

"Show him some love later," Heeseung whispered and I just nodded at him, giving him a thumbs up.

"Airing in two," the staff called out and I quickly composed myself again between the two boys and looked at my interview questions.

"2, 3," a count came from behind me making me peek my head up, "MC fighting!" the boys all cheered behind us, making us all turn around in confusion. Alex and Bit immediately bowed at them as a thanks to them, instead I just let out a small laugh at them.

"Go Noona," Niki quietly cheered making me softly smile at him.

"On in 3, 2," the staff counted and we quickly composed ourselves again and got ready to film, "and we're on!"

"Hello, we are back with another artist interview," Bit started.

"This is Alex," Alex started.

"Jiyeon," I continued.

"And Bit," Bit gestured to the camera with his speaking cards.

"And we're here with Enhypen!" I announced and we stepped out to the sides of the podium to the interview as the boys all waved at the camera, "please introduce yourselves."

They all quickly did our greeting before introducing themselves individually and we continued with the interview. As predicted it was fairly chaotic and before we knew it it was finished and I only had to shoot the MC stage before I could go home.

Overall my first day as an MC were quite enjoyable, the only con with the whole thing. There were an awful jealous boy back at the dorm, who claimed to need all my love and attention for the rest of the day.
