We all rushed out from the changing room and out towards the stage, whilst we adjusted our microphones on our heads and at least put in one earpiece. Once at the stage we got up and stood ready in position, waiting to film.
"Noona?" Niki quickly patted my shoulder making him turn to him, "be careful," he stated and pointed to a place where water had been spilled on the stage, around the spot I'll end up dancing the most throughout the performance.
"Oh..." I slowly trailed off and checked the soles of my shoes, almost no structure at all, "I'll be careful," I nodded at him.
"Shouldn't they clean that up though?" Niki questioned and looked over towards the water splatter on the stage.
"I think they-" I started before getting cut of.
"Enhypen first performance cut filming in 5 seconds," a voice called out over the monitors.
"Well... we'll see what happens then," I commented and put in my last earpiece before getting ready to do the performance.
We soon got the cue in our earpieces and began the performance. Everything went just fine. Not long had lasted before I had stepped in the water, immediately making my boots slippery.
For the first two verses I had managed to use my leg muscles to stay on my feet while dancing, forcing my feet to not slip by tensing my legs up as much as possible. Doesn't mean it was easy.
As we had reached the second chorus I had rushed over to my spot behind Jungwon and in front of Jake. The moment I had jumped and placed my feet back down on the groun I felt my right foot disappear under me, causing me to fall down onto my right hip.
I didn't even hesitate before sliding across the stage to my next position, getting up fast and matching up with the dance completely. I continued dancing and performing like nothing happened for the rest of the performance and even did the ending fairy shot I was supposed to do today.
"We'll take another shot! Back in positions!" a staff member called out as we all were breathing heavily.
I let out a small groan as I felt a pain shoot up through my right leg the moment I began walking back towards my position. I immediately held a hand to my right hip and soon had a VERY concerned Jake standing in front of me.
"Are you okay? I saw your fall, it looked really bad," he stated and I just shook my head and waved my hand at him.
"I'm fine," I assured and tried to walk back to my spot again, but failing the moment I had shown a small sign of limping.
"You're not, you can't dance again," Jake stated making me just look to him with a small glare.
"I can perform, it's not a problem," I sternly stated.
"Jungwon-ah!" Jake called out making Jungwon immediately turn his head to us, "come pick up your stubborn girlfriend."
"Why?" Jungwon questioned in confusion.
"She fell," Jake stated making Jungwon widen his eyes and immediately run over to us.
"Where are you hurt? What happened?" he quickly questioned as he looked me up and down.
"Her right hip, I don't think she can walk," Jake shook his head, "she was limping just before."
"It was one step," I defended to Jake.
"Oh yeah? Try stepping closer to Jungwon," Jake offered making me sigh before taking a step forward, failing to not limp again.
"What's happening?" Heeseung yelled out a complaint from the formation the other boys stood in.
"Jiyeon-ie is injured," Jake yelled back.
"Noona! You promised to be careful of the water," Niki complained as he rushed over to us.
"There was water on the stage?" Sunghoon called out making Niki immediately nod at him, "why was there water on the stage?"
"How would we know?" Jungwon snapped back at him before quickly letting out a deep breath, "sorry. I'm worried."
"Get her back to the changing room, we're using the one recording we already got. Jiyeon-ie is not dancing more today, she is resting for now," Heeseung stated, "we'll explain the staff what is happening, just get her to her stylist, she'll know what to do."
"I'm carrying you," Jungwon stated immediately sweeping me off my feet and holding me bridal style, making me immediately let out a small complaint in pain, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry," he immediately excused before rushing off, "I promise you I'll make up for how much it hurts right now. I'll give you a whole lot of kisses and cuddles the rest of the day. I'll get you anything you need and I'll carry you everywhere.
"I'm fine, relax," I sighed at him making him literally kick down the doorhandle to our waiting room, making our staff immediately turn to us.
"She fell on stage, injured her right hip, we think... she's limping," Jungwon quickly breathed out in one quick sentence.
"The couch," my stylist quickly stated making Jungwon rush over and place me down on the couch, so I laid on my left side.
My stylist was quick to rush over and feel around on my hip, even though I kept complaining about how it hurt.
"It's not dislocated," my stylist immediately decided, "I think what happened is you took a hard hit to the hip, you'll be bruised for sure. But I think we need to get a physician to take a look at you. An icepacket is on it's way."
My stylist quickly rushed off out of the door, leaving me behind with Jungwon and the rest of the staff. Soon enough Jungwon was handed an icepacket, which he quickly placed on my hip as he quickly sat and held one of my hands in his, rubbing his thumb back and forth the back of my hand.
"You know you're very dramatic in moments like this... overreating and such," I pointed out making Jungwon just hum at me and turn the ice packet around to let the cold side hit my hip.
"I just don't like you being in pain, whether it's physical or mental," he excused and pressed a kiss to my cheek, "I hate seeing any other emotion other than happiness on your face. I always want you to be happy, and not in pain."
"I'll be fine," I assured and he just shrugged at me.
"Doesn't change the fact it makes worried and sometimes freak out a bit," he excused, "I really didn't mean to snap at Sunghoon-ie hyung."
"He'll understand," I assured him.
"He's already on edge with me sometimes because I'm your boyfriend and he is overprotective of you," he sighed.
"Shut up, Sunghoon cherises all of us equally as much," I hissed making him let out a small laugh as he just nodded in agreement.
"He just tells me a lot to take care of you," he nodded at me, "he's not really on age, he's just very observant of whether or not I treat you properly."
"I know," I assured him with a nod, "he often asks me if you treat me well enough," I pointed out with a small laugh, "he's really overprotective sometimes.
"You're his Yeji in the group," he nodded in agreement," I understand him though. I would be the same if you were dating any of the boys that wasn't me. I'd want to protect you too."
"You already do that," I pointed out.
"And I still fail sometimes," he reminded, "if you were dating anyone else I could give them the blame, but when you're dating me I am the blame."
"That's complete bullshit," I scrunched up my nose at him he let out a small laugh, "is my fall perhaps your fault?"
"I am the leader and I need to make sure everything is in order when we go to perform," he nodded at me, making he me just roll my eyes.
"You're doing great, and I don't want to date anyone else," I pointed out to him making a small smile appear on his face before he leaned in and pecked my lips.
"Good. Because I don't want you dating anyone else," he pointed out with a happy smile, making his dimple immediately appear.
I smiled softly as I just laid and stared at him. I really did feel lucky with the fact that I managed to get that boy wrapped around my finger.
