Chapter 57

Wayne's POV

"Alright man?" Luke smiled at me as I took beside him, guessing that the seat was saved for me.

"I'm good cheers. What's happening today?" I asked, not remembering at all what Luke had said earlier.

"Shopping. I needed someone to save me from being dragged around all day." Luke laughed.

"I need some clothes actually, if I'm going to be staying much longer!" I smiled.

"Hopefully you will be mate!" Luke happily replied.

"Me too," I returned, knowing that I would if all went to plan.

After another 10 minutes on the bus we arrived in the city and hopped off to start the shopping. Luke, Jai, James, Daniel and I went into Topman as Beau decided to follow the girls into new look for some reason - he didn't seem to be in a great mood.

"I haven't asked anyone else yet, but would you fancy coming to the Paramore gig with us later?" Luke asked me as we started looking at the clothes.

"Sounds sick mate, what time?" I replied.

"We'll come for you at 5:30 in the taxi if that's alright?" He smiled innocently.

"Sure, thanks man - as long as it's alright with the others." I replied with hope.

I headed down to the lobby to meet one of the guys, expecting it to be Luke as he seemed to have suddenly became my best friend - but having the pleasant surprise of it being Ruby.

"Hello!" I said a little more cheerfully than intended as I met her at the door.

"Ready for tonight?" She asked with a grin, seeming excited about the night ahead.

"Yeah I love Paramore, especially Hayley.." I smirked, making her laugh.

I greeted the others in the taxi and we made our way, arriving at the venue to see a pretty long queue of people around our age.

After about 15 minutes of waiting out in the cold we finally got inside and made our way to the bar, knowing we'd have no chance of getting near the front.

"What does everyone want?" Beau asked, glaring at me before looking at everyone else which gave him their orders, finally giving me a chance at the end. "Come and help me Wayne?" He almost instructed, not giving me a chance to protest so instead I smiled and followed him on.

We arrived at the bar and Beau gave the orders before turning to face me. "You better watch your back man, I've heard there's some people who don't like you for what you did." He said smugly, obviously referring to himself.

"What's your problem?" I asked.

"I know what you're trying to do." He said, I wasn't sure what he was thinking.

"Why aren't you stopping me then?" I replied as I furrowed my eyebrows slightly, causing confusion to wipe over his face.

"Do you want me to warn Luke and Ruby about you?" He asked, obviously getting angry.

"You're making me out to be a serial killer," I laughed. "Just stay away from me, you've got no proof I'm doing anything." I replied as I shook my head and took a couple of the drinks at the bar back. There was no way he would be able to stop my plan at this stage.
