Beau's POV
I pushed open the fire exit where we agreed to meet the girls and sure enough there they were, smiles on their faces as soon as they saw me there.
I couldn't help but stare at Danni, she looked so beautiful, then realised I hadn't even glanced at Ruby.
"So are we going in?" Ruby asked, laughing.
"Oh, um, yeah." I replied awkwardly, allowing space for them to pass by me and into the backstage part of the venue.
I followed them into the dressing room to where the others were along with Ronnie and Jacob.
Each of the boys stood up and hugged the girls in turn. "This is Jacob and Ronnie, by the way." James announced pointing in their direction.
"Ah, we know." Danni said with a smile as they stepped towards them for hugs. "Nice to meet you guys."
"It's nice to meet you too." Jacob replied looking between them both.
We all took seats down on the couches in the dressing room and talked for a while.
"Can we play charades please?" Daniel near enough begged us. It's his favourite game so I agreed to play it.
He stood in front of us all and held up three fingers. "Three words." Ruby shouted. He nodded and started gesturing muscles on his arms.
"Strong!" Jai shouted, Daniel shook his head.
"Big!" James shouted, again being wrong.
"C'mon," Daniel said as he carried on holding his arms to the side like a body builder.
"What the fuck does this mean if it doesn't mean strong?" James said, copying Skip's movement and making us all laugh.
"It's close to that!" Daniel said.
He all paused and thought for a minute. "Power?" Luke said.
"YES!" Daniel said, relieved.
"Power Puff Girls!" Danni yelled.
Daniel pointed at her and gave her a high five, making us all laugh.
"Why the fuck did you choose that?" Jai laughed.
We played charades for another 20 minutes before the stress of guessing people's terrible acting got too much.
"Oh shit we're meant to leave here in 5 minutes!" Luke said as he checked his phone.
"Aww, we were having such a good time." Ruby replied, sticking out her bottom lip.
"Come back to our hotel. There are three spare beds, we got a massive room." I burst out without even thinking about it. Luke shot a look at me, I couldn't tell whether it was good or bad.
"Oh, um, I'm not sure. I'll have to let my parents know, they're expecting me home anytime." Danni said, and Ruby agreed. "We'll go and call them."
They both left the room and we were left in silence until Jai spoke. "What the fuck are you doing? You've probably creeped them out asking that."
"I just panicked. I really like them, I think we could be good friends." I replied, defending myself.
"Yeah, friends." James said with a smirk. "I'm sure that's the only reason."
I rolled my eyes. "Bro, you know I'm not like that." I said.
"I'm just kidding." He said, still smirking.
The girls came back into the room with smiles on their faces, I expected a yes. "Yeah we can stay, had to use persuasion even though I'm 18 next week." Ruby said, laughing.
I felt my face soften and I started to grin. "Ah, good. We'll make our way back now then." I said.
We all squeezed into the mini van only meant to carry 7, meaning the girls had to sit on our laps and of course I offered mine to Danni which she thankfully took.
"Wanna sit on my lap bebs?" Jai to James said in a camp voice.
"Yeah okay bae." He replied as he sat on his lap, having to duck his head down from the roof of the car - leaving a seat for Ruby between Jai/James and Daniel. I peered over to Luke to see his face drop. Jealousy I thought to myself.
