Jai's POV

"Today's the day!" Beau sang through the hotel room, making us all groan with tiredness as we were all still half asleep. "Our apartment will be open now, get the fuck up! I can't wait much longer!" He yelled jokingly as he pulled a tshirt over his head.

We all slowly got up as if we were half dead and began to get dressed, shortly afterwards we packed our suitcases that had been trailing around with us for the last couple of months.

My phone buzzed on the bedside table, revealing a text message from my girlfriend, Ariana, asking me to call her. A shot of joy filled my stomach as I finished reading the message, I hardly ever got to talk to Ariana as we were both always so busy with our hectic careers, so any time to talk was golden.

I headed out of the hotel room and into the corridor to call her, giving me some more privacy. I hit the call button on her contact, letting it ring for a few seconds before she answered.

"Hi Jai." She said in her usual sweet voice, making me smile almost instantly. "How are you doing love?" She asked.

"I'm great thanks babe, how are you? I miss you." I replied, wanting nothing less than to hug her right now.

"Not too bad," She sighed. "Look, there's no easy way of saying this," She paused yet again. "But I can't do this - us. It's too much pressure Jai, we never see each other." She said quietly, my heart almost stopping as her words registered in my head.

"No," I whispered, not being able to get out any more words.

"I still love you but I can't handle all the distance, it feels like you're travelling with my heart. I'm ending this now before it gets too much." She said almost seriously, as if it was easy for her.

"Isn't what we have worth fighting for? We can make this work." I pleaded in desperation, I couldn't lose her like this. She was my everything.

"I'm sorry, it's over Jai. Goodbye." She said, her voice seeming to break as she spoke. That was it, the line went dead. My world was shattered in an instant.

I slid down the wall of the corridor, my heart slowly and painfully breaking as the thoughts whirled around my mind. I pushed my head down into my hands, tears forming in my eyes and dropping into the red carpet beneath me.

I heard footsteps heading towards the door beside me, followed by the voice of Daniel who I guess was looking for me. "Hurry up we're going soon-" He called, cutting off his words as he saw me sat there. "Jai? What's up?" He asked, concern growing in his voice as he crouched down beside me.

"She just ended it with me," I said, the realisation hitting me like a brick wall. I couldn't bare to say her name.

"Ariana?" He asked. I nodded as my head was supported by my gripping hands. "Oh fuck, come here." He said almost softly, wrapping his arms around my stiff body.

I relaxed a little, copying his actions which made me feel a little comforted. I knew the boys knew my relationship with Ariana better than anyone; they would understand how much this would hurt me.

"Do you want to come inside?" He asked me as he pulled away. I nodded, sniffling a bit and wiping my tear soaked eyes. I followed him in, looking at myself in the mirror quickly; everyone would know I had been crying straight away.

"Aw Jai, what's wrong?!" Danni asked worryingly as she paced over and wrapped her arms around my body - causing everyone else's attention to be focused on me.

Everyone eagerly awaited an answer as I stood there, even the thought caused a lump in my throat. "It's Ariana, she broke up with me." I said sadly, sitting down on the end of my bed.

"Aw, man." Beau said with sigh, sitting down beside me and slinging his arm around my shoulder - followed by Luke and James that turned it into one big group hug.

After an hour I had finally got my head around the news, not that it made me feel any better. We climbed out of our mini van and headed up the pathway to our new apartment, the others were ecstatic with excitement.

"I think you'll love it, I dibbed us the big room." Luke smirked down at Ruby as he had his arm around her shoulder. I was happy that he had finally found someone to call his but I couldn't help but feel jealous that I no longer did.

Beau and Danni were at the front of the group and eagerly unlocked the front door, pulling it open and near enough running in. I wish I could feel as excited as everyone else did but that phone call had just ruined everything, I still couldn't understand how she could end everything we had.

I pulled my suitcase into the house and down the hallway, joining the others that bounced around with joy in our new lounge room. I gave them a smile and sat down on the couch, sitting back and staring into the air as I daydreamed.

"Cheer up mate, think about the positives, like you can be my wingman!" James laughed as he sat down beside me, cheering me up a little. James and Tiffany had split up a couple of weeks ago so we were the only single ones left.

I returned him a smile and laughed slightly, I suppose he was right. I had to stay positive and not let this get me down.
