Ruby's POV
"Dare or dare?" Beau asked Daniel with a smirk as the bottle faced his direction.
"Hmm, dare." Daniel laughed.
"You have to go and lie on top of that guy." Jai laughed, pointing to a middle aged looking guy lying on the grass and reading, making us all laugh just imagining it.
Daniel sighed and stood up, running his hands through his hair before pacing over to the man. All of a sudden he bent down, wrapping his arms around the mans stomach and lying on top of him. We all burst into fits of laughter, tears filling my eyes as I continued to laugh uncontrollably.
Daniel was chased away, the man holding his fist up to him as he ran after him for a few seconds. He came back out of breath, still laughing and looking very proud of what he had just done.
I spotted Luke coming over from a distance so I decided to call over to him. "Took your time didn't you?" I joked with a smile. He arrived at the group, a small and obviously fake smile across his face as he sat down.
He sat down next to Jai, not even looking at me since he got here - I was beginning to get worried. I don't think the others seemed to notice as they continued to play dare or dare. I watched him for a while, I could tell something was wrong as he flicked through the photos on his camera, not showing any emotion or looking upwards.
After a while we decided to wrap it up and head to the venue early, calling Jeremy to come and pick us up from the park. We walked over to the road, our car turning up after only a couple minutes.
Jai and James got in first, Luke following them and sitting at the back, leaving me at the front with Skip and Jacob. I don't want to seem big headed but I sort of felt offended, Luke would always sit with me. What was going on?
We arrived at the venue, fans covering the roads but being held back by barriers as usual. The other lads waved and smiled everyone, unlike Luke who kept his head down and headed straight inside.
I followed the others into the dressing room, saying hello to some of the staff that worked there, they always seemed to be so welcoming. We went into the dressing room and sat down, casually talking as we waited for the meet and greet which was in 45 minutes.
Luke was still being unusually quiet, not even talking to me since he had gone to take photographs at the park. He stood up and went over to the mirror to sort his hair out so I decided to follow and ask him what was up.
I came up from behind him, putting my hand on his back to get his attention which made him look a little uncomfortable as he stepped backwards and looked at me. He looked as if he was almost scared of me as the look of fright filled his eyes.
He quickly walked right past me just as I began to talk to him, heading to the door and pulling it open. I followed him, I couldn't just ignore his ridiculous behaviour. I caught the door just before it closed after him and stepped out into the hallway.
"I'm getting sick of your behaviour today Luke, just come back and tell me what's wrong, you're scaring me." I called to him, making him stop and turn around.
"Do you really mean that though? See, I can't tell whether you're being fake or not with me. You were right the other day, I really don't know you do I? Has everything in this relationship been a big lie?" He harshly said to me, his voice raising. I was shocked, not sure of how to reply.
"What do you mean?" I stuttered, my heart starting to beat at double the rate.
"Your dirty little secret came to see me today, well it's not really so little actually is it?" He said, looking at me with pure anger.
"Wayne?" I whispered without intending to. Surely that was impossible.
"Well done," He said. "So when were you planning on telling me that you killed someone?" He asked, taking a few steps closer to me and quieting his voice down.
My eyes widened, hearing the words come from his mouth made it all the more real; and heartbreaking. "I'm so sorry, just please calm down. I need to know exactly what he told you." I said confidently, knowing Wayne would've added some kind of lie.
"Was that mans life not worthy enough to remember?" He shouted, his words breaking me. I let out a cry, what I had done was unforgivable but saying that was just disgusting.
"I didn't mean that, you knew exactly what I meant." I spat at him, a tear rolling down my cheek.
"You've done enough," He shouted, storming off in the opposite direction. "We're over."
