Ruby's POV

The doorbell and James, Jai, Daniel and I sat awaiting in the living room as Luke and Beau went to let Harriet and Ria in - I could tell James seemed a bit nervous which was sweet.

"Hello!" One of the girls called as she entered the room. She had long dark brown hair, tanned skin and seemed overjoyed to see all of the boys.

"Hey Ria," Jai grinned as he stood up to take her into a hug.

Shortly after the other girl entered the room, she had medium length brown hair and paler skin than the other girl. "Harriet!" James grinned as he stood form his chair and rushed over to take her into a tight hug. So now I finally got to meet the girl he was always on about.

The others boys all greeted the girls before Luke introduced me to both of them. "Harriet, Ria, this is my girlfriend - Ruby." He grinned as I smiled at them, taking them both into small hugs as they seemed very friendly.

Harriet and Ria took seats between James and Jai as I sat by Luke and Beau and Daniel sat together on the couch beside us. I watched as James' face lit up every time Harriet spoke to her - it was adorable to see him so happy about a girl.

"They're so cute!" I whispered to Luke, catching Beau's attention as he heard me and looked over to them as well.

"Wait, they're together?!" Beau asked quietly, luckily James and Harriet didn't hear.

"No, but something tells me they will be soon." Luke piped up as he watched them.

I walked into the kitchen with Luke to go and refill everyone's drinks, soon followed by Ria and Beau who came to help.

"So... Harriet and James?" Beau said, catching the attention of Ria who looked at him clueless.

"What about them?" She asked.

"I'm going to step in because Beau will twist the story somehow," I said, smirking at Beau which made him roll his eyes and laugh. "Well, James told me a few days ago that he's been talking to Harriet for a while now - so obviously I asked him some questions. Eventually I got the fact that he liked her out of him, so now we're planning on getting them together."

"Oh," She began, taking in what I told her."I hadn't thought about it that way, but now you mention it I guess they are really cute together... And she doesn't talk about him a lot." She chuckled.

"So are you in on the plan?" Luke asked. She nodded and we headed back into the room with the drinks, now we just had to get Daniel and Jai on board without them splitting to James about our plan - though I doubt he'd protest.

After an hour or so another knock sounded at the door, Daniel's face lighting up as he looked up from his phone and paced down the hallway. It must be Lucy.

We heard a few voices coming from the door, suggesting that Kiana was there too - great. The last thing Luke needed right now was Kiana coming around to make him feel bad, though I'm sure she didn't care who she hurt.

The others all greeted the girls, Luke and I staying out of the way as we knew they both hated us - or me anyway. They obviously already knew Harriet and Ria slightly so at least they had someone besides the boys and I to talk to.

Lucy sat in between Daniel and Beau as Kiana sat next to Luke - leaving him squashed between me and his ex, what was she doing?!

"So, I just wanted to say sorry for anything I said before..." Kiana said quietly to Luke and I as other conversations began in the other groups. "I know it kind of ruined our friendship but if you're willing to forgive me for being such a bitch, I can forgive you." I was completely shocked.

Luke looked at me for help, he was just as speechless as I was. "I respect your apology and obviously I understand how hard it was before, but I agree - that's in the past now. Maybe we should move on," I began as I looked from her to Luke, waiting for his response.

"Yeah, it's better than having it hanging over us for the rest of our life." He said, Kiana's face brightening up - I just hoped that she meant everything that she had said.
