Luke's POV

I couldn't help but feel overjoyed at the news Ruby had just gave us, I'd get to see her so much more and maybe even sort out what had happened since there was still some tension between us.

The celebration only lasted about an hour until we decided to go over to Ruby's new apartment before we got too carried away with drinking. We followed her out onto the road - deciding to walk as it was only a few minutes away as she had said.

We eventually arrived and she let us in, she'd only been in here about three times so she wasn't as familiar with it. We all took a look around, Ruby giving us a tour as best should could, even though there was hardly any furniture yet it still seemed nice.

"I just need to toilet," I said quietly, parting from the group as they left to go downstairs and into the lounge. All of a sudden I heard a roar of 'Aww's' coming from downstairs so I made it down as quickly as I could.

"You missed it! Jake and Ruby just got exposed by Lucy!" Daniel giggled at me, I had no idea what he was on about.

"Exposed to what?" I asked, confused.

"They were caught together, if you know what I mean." Jai winked at me, making my heart start racing. "As in kissing you dirty minded creep." He laughed.

I didn't know how to feel, I couldn't lie to myself - I still had feelings for her. I had never really gotten over her, but she obviously had gotten over me. I attempted a fake smile but failed as a sigh escaped my mouth, luckily their attention wasn't on me.

I watched them both together, looking so happy and perfect, how could I let this happen? I should've just taken the chance when I had it but I went ahead and messed things up, like I always do.

"Luke?" Kiana said loudly in my direction, clearing my current thoughts and stopping me from staring at Ruby and Jake.

"What?" I said bluntly, not meaning to. I didn't want her hurt Kiana but sometimes she just got a bit clingy, and it wasn't as if I was in the best of moods.

"I said, when is the party we're going to?" She repeated herself in innocence.

"Oh -" I said, trying to regather my thoughts. "On Saturday night at Orleans nightclub."

"That's the one! Who wants to come?" She asked openly.

Everyone seemed to accept the offer which was good, meaning we could have a night out together to be ourselves around each other for once - it had all seemed a bit fake ever since Lucy and Kiana moved in.

After a couple of hours we decided to head back home, painfully leaving Ruby and Jake alone, agreeing that we would meet up again tomorrow. We got back to our own apartment in only about 5 minutes and let ourselves in.

"Fancy going to the cinema soon?" Kiana asked me sweetly. To be honest, I'd rather just sit at home and sulk about the news but I knew that'd just make me feel worse.

"Yeah, sure. As long as we go and watch Sex Tape." I smirked, making her laugh.

"I bet you don't even know what it's about do you?" She giggled.

"I can take a guess." I winked, laughing. "And I know Marshall from How I Met Your Mother is in it so don't judge me too much."

"Right, fine. We'll go and see that then." She gave in with a smile.

Kiana ran upstairs to get ready whilst I stayed downstairs with Jai in the lounge. "Jake seems like a really nice guy doesn't he?" Jai said, breaking the silence.

"Yeah, I guess." I replied, not really wanting to talk about him.

"You don't like him do you?" He replied, seeming to almost get protective over Jake.

"What? Yeah I do, he seems alright." I replied, trying to act casually.

"Luke, I can tell when something's up. You are my twin brother, we're psychic remember?" Jai said, making me smile.

"I can't really tell you, it's a mess." I admitted, raking my hands through my hair.

"If it's a mess then you need to sort it bro, just tell me." He insisted. I really knew I shouldn't tell him how I really felt but I suppose he was right.

"I think I still love Ruby, I mean I know I do but I don't know what to do. She thinks I've moved on and she obviously has too, I've just fucked it all up." I said quietly, hoping he would know what to suggest.

He came over and took me into a big hug, making me feel a bit more comforted. "You need to get her back then. You don't know that she's definitely moved on do you?" He said.

"But she's with-" I began before he interrupted me.

"And you're with Kiana, but it doesn't mean you've moved on does it?" He said, he was completely right.

I gave him a smile and nodded. "Thanks mate. Just give me a few days and I'll try to sort it out." I said.

"Whatever you need bro." He smiled, patting me on the shoulder before walking out into the kitchen. I knew what I had to do now.
