Ruby's POV

After about 5 minutes Luke had explained to the others what had happened. I kept out of the way in the kitchen as I felt nothing but embarrassment. I let this boy back into our lives and I let him ruin it all.

"Are you feeling okay?" A voice came behind me, turning out to be Danni's as I turned around.

"If embarrassment and anger is feeling okay then I guess so." I replied, having to take a deep breath to stop myself from ranting.

"Come in the living room with me, we need to sort a plan to stop him," She began. "And get revenge in the process."

I smiled as I nodded and followed her into the living room, dreading the fake pity everyone would shed upon me. I knew they would all see me in a different light now, if it wasn't for me there would be no drama in this house half the time.

Once I had got inside it wasn't as bad as I had imagined, I mean they did all look at me with pity but no one made a big fuss about it. They seemed more angry than sad at this moment in time.

I took a seat beside Luke as Danni departed to sit next to Beau. "We have to make him pay this time." Luke announced in seriousness.

"Luke, I don't want anymore drama. I just want it all to go away, for him to go away." I said truthfully.

"He's hurt you. He's hurt me. He won't just stop either Ruby. He deserves everything he gets." He said, raising his voice slightly.

"Maybe she's right, getting revenge could only make it worse." James stated, backing me up.

Luke looked at James with distrust as he raised his hand in confusion. "Beau, you hated him the whole time didn't you? What do you think?" Luke directed at Beau.

"As much as I'd love to agree with you I think Ruby should choose, she's the victim in this." He said.

"Look Luke, I want him out of my life more than any of you - believe me - but I'm the only one that knows how to do it." I started, having second thoughts about my plan, but I knew I had to go through with it. "I'm going to threaten to go to the police about the hit and run that happened when we were younger. I know there's a risk that I'll go down for it too but I have a feeling he's too cowardly to let me do that. Just trust me." I said, noticing how everyone was listening to me with complete concentration.

I stood up from my chair, everyone obviously unsure of what to say. "I'm going to drive down now." I began as Luke stood up. "Don't follow me, I need to do this alone." I smiled at him with pity. This was my chance to get rid of that monster.

I walked out of the living room door and grabbed my car keys on the side table. I texted Wayne as I walked out, asking him to come outside so I could just get it over and done with instead of having to wait for him.

After a couple of minutes of driving I was there and I saw Wayne standing outside. I pulled up and hopped out of the car, his face lighting up slightly as he saw me.

"Hey, I didn't expect you." He grinned as he tried to hug me but I pushed him away.

"I'm here to tell you that this is the last time you'll see me. And you're not going to ever come near me again. Do you understand?" I instructed.

"And why would I do that?" He laughed.

"Because if you don't I will go to the police about the hit and run. You will get locked away." I said seriously, his face completely dropping from the smile.

"You do realise you would as well?" He asked.

"It would be worth it to make sure I never saw your face again." I said.

He looked down as he thought about it with concentration. "Fine." He sighed. "Just remember that I changed for you." He called as I began to walk away.

"You never changed." I called back, not wanting to see his reaction as I got in the car. I was finally free from his control.
