FRIDAY NIGHT
~ ~ ~
Luke's POV
After about 45 minutes I was ready for the night out so I headed down to the kitchen to see Daniel. "Anyone else coming?" I asked as he stood there on his phone.
"Nope, they're being boring. Apparently Leonardo DiCaprio is going to be there though!" He grinned, making me chuckle. He was way too gullible sometimes.
"Yeah okay. Better go and tell Beau then." I laughed.
"Oh my god yeah!! He'll be so jealous!" He almost squealed making me laugh as he ran out of the room. He always brightened up my mood without even meaning to.
"Ready to go Lukey?" Lucy asked as she was followed by Daniel into the kitchen.
I nodded with a smile, following them out into the cab and laughing at Daniel finally catching on that Leonardo wouldn't be there. The party wasn't too far so we were there in only about 15 minutes.
We hopped out of the cab and we followed Lucy into the party to find her friend we'd arranged to meet with. "KIANA!" Lucy suddenly screamed, running over to a girl on the other side of the room and wrapping her arms around her. She gestured for Daniel and I to come over so we did so.
"This is Kiana," Lucy told us. "And this is Luke and my babe Daniel." She continued with a giggle. I have to admit Kiana was beautiful, I didn't know what to say to her but luckily Daniel spoke first.
"Where do I get a drink around here?!" He asked, not exactly what I had hoped for but better than nothing. Kiana showed him where to get the drinks as Lucy and I followed.
"What do you think of her?" Lucy asked quietly with a smirk, I knew what she wanted out of me.
"She seems nice." I smiled innocently. Although I thought she was attractive it wasn't like I had any feelings for her, I don't think Lucy realised how badly I took my break up with Ruby. I still loved her.
I sped up a bit and joined Daniel and Kiana, avoiding any more unnecessary questioning. We got a few drinks and headed back to the other room, talking for a while and getting to know Kiana better.
After a couple of hours we were all pretty much drunk, especially Daniel and Lucy who had been dancing for the last half an hour and dragging Kiana along with them.
"We better get home now." I slurred to Daniel, making him do his 'sad face'. "Come oooon." I laughed, pulling his arm and making him nearly fall over.
He finally gave in and Lucy and Kiana followed outside where it was a little quieter. "Where are you staying?" Lucy asked Kiana.
"Some little hotel, it sucks." She replied, making us laugh.
"Stay at ours!" Daniel shouted, his face lighting up at his own brilliant idea.
"Oh my god yes!! Would the others mind?" Lucy replied before Kiana had a chance.
"Nah, who cares anyway." Daniel slurred with laughter, making Kiana grin. She seemed keen on the idea too.
We all agreed and I called for a cab that didn't take too long to arrive. We all hopped in and headed back to the apartment - trying to stay as quiet as possible as we all piled through the door, which failed.
"I'm going up to bed." I announced as I could feel my head spinning a little. I said goodnight to everyone and headed upstairs. It had been such a great night, finally letting me forget about all of the drama for at least one night.
