Ruby's POV

"We're free!" I called happily through the house as I stepped through the front door.

I heard a cheering come from the living room which made me grin as I joined them all inside.

"What did he say?" Daniel asked like an excited child.

"Well I told him what I would do if he didn't stop interfering with my life and he actually agreed to it pretty much straight away. I knew he was too cowardly to stand up for himself." I sighed with relief.

"Girl power!" Danni laughed as she threw her fist into the air.

"Can I talk to you, upstairs?" Beau said quietly to Danni but just loud enough for me to hear. She nodded and followed him out.

After about 5 minutes of talking to the other boys I heard a loud thumping sound coming down the stairs so I went out to see what was happening. It was Danni, in a state of tears.

"Danni, what's wrong?" I worriedly asked.

"Please just drive me to your apartment or something." She said, trying to wipe away the tears that kept collecting in her eyes.

I nodded as I looked up the stairs, to see Beau heading this way, it must've been him. I led her to the car and we jumped in, driving off before he had a chance to come outside.

"What happened?" I asked as we drove down the road.

"He broke up with me, for no good reason." She said, more angrily than sadly.

I gasped, never expecting them to break up. They were the cutest couple. "Tell me when we get inside." I said as we pulled up, the apartment was only down the road so we were there in no time.

I unlocked the door and we got inside, sitting in the living room which was a bit of a mess since I hadn't been here since the Jake drama.

I paced into the kitchen to get her a glass of water and handed it to her as I sat down. "So what pathetic reason did he give you?" I asked.

"He said you're not meant to know yet but they're moving back to LA." She told me, my stomach dropping at the thought. "Apparently he can't handle a long distance relationship, or in other words he wants to find someone better in LA." She said, a few tears escaping from her eyes.

"I'm sure that's not true," I said as I took her into a hug. "Plus, no one is better than you." I smiled.

"Well he obviously doesn't care enough about our relationship to give it a try." She said.

"Maybe he's just scared. But I think he should at least give it a go, that's pretty pathetic ending it before you even have a chance." I replied. "When are they going then? Since my boyfriend has told me nothing about it."

"Saturday." She stated, waiting for my reaction. That was in 4 days.

"And Luke hasn't said a word." I said suspiciously. "What if he does the same to me as Beau did to you?" I asked in fear.

"Ruby, I can tell he is in love with you. I have a feeling he won't be as pathetic as his brother is, he wouldn't let distance stand in the way of your relationship." She said meaningfully, making me feel a bit better.

I smiled and nodded, trying to persuade myself that I believed it just as much as Danni. "I'll go over in the morning, I don't want you to stay alone tonight." I said, pulling my phone out to text Luke.

"You don't have to, I just wanted to be away from Beau for a while." She said, but I could tell she didn't want to stay alone.

"I insist." I smiled. "We can have a good chat about stupid boys and other annoying people." I said making her laugh. It was nice to spend some alone time with her for the first time in forever.
