Ruby's POV

I woke up to see a text message from Luke. 'Hey Rubes, did you have a fun night? Xxx' It said.

'Yeah it was great thanks! Wish you were there though :( how's Amsterdam? Xxx' I replied.

'Its been fun :) we're off to France now, I'll talk to you later xxx' He replied, I said goodbye and got out of bed.

I ran down the stairs to see my mum and dad in the kitchen. My mum put some bread into the toaster for me and sat down at the table with a cup of tea.

"Muuuum, you know Danni and the boys are on the European tour?" I asked, raising my eyebrows slightly.

"Yes," She smirked.

"Can I join them, just for the last week please?" I asked, smiling from her to my dad.

"I'm not sure, we haven't even met them yet." My dad said.

"But Danni's there, and Luke is my boyfriend!" I exclaimed a little loudly. "And it was my 18th yesterday." I added.

"She's right, and it is only a week." My mum said smiling, trying to persuade my dad until he sighed.

"Fine." He smiled. "You have to call everyday though." He laughed as he stood from his chair.

"Thank you!!" I squealed, jumping up to give him a hug, and then my mum.

I paced up the stairs to get ready. I jumped into the shower quickly to wash my hair and wash off the remaining makeup from the previous night. I walked into my room and sat on my bed, checking my phone quickly to see if I had any messages, and sure enough I did. Wayne.

'I'll pick you up for the party at 7 babe, wear something cute ;) xxxx' It read, making me roll my eyes.

'Since when was it a party? I thought I was just coming to your house?' I replied, angry at him from what he had said the night before.

'I didn't tell you, there won't be many people anyway. See you later xxxxxx' He replied, the amount of kisses making me want to vomit.

The clock hit 6:30pm so I decided to get ready for when Wayne would pick me up, hoping it would end as soon as possible.

I opened my wardrobe doors, pulling out a simple dark blue bodycon dress and pulled it on, readjusting it slightly as I looked into the mirror.

I pulled on my little black heels and straightened my hair quickly, putting on some light and simple makeup. I didn't want to make much of an effort for whatever was going to happen tonight.

I walked down the stairs, telling my dad I was going out with some of the girls so they wouldn't worry, and stepped out the front door. I waited for a couple of minutes before I saw Wayne's car pull up outside my house.

Before he had a chance to get out I had walked over and pulled open the car door, taking a seat on the passengers side.

"How you doing gorgeous?" He smirked, stroking my hair lightly. I already wanted to go back home, but I couldn't.

"I have a boyfriend, remember?" I said firmly, leaning my head to the side so it was out of his reach.

He laughed slightly before pulling off and heading down the road towards the party. I wasn't sure what to expect but I knew it wouldn't be pretty if it was his type of people there.

After a 10 minute drive of him constantly looking from me to the road, as if he was checking I was still there, we finally arrived and hopped out of the car. The house looked relatively normal, giving me a little bit of hope.

He led me down the path by his un-comforting warm hand and knocked on the door. A tall guy came to the door, a grin on his face as he saw Wayne.

"Alright mate," He said, taking Wayne into a hug. "And who's this lovely lady?" He asked, bearing his yellow and uneven teeth.

"Rob this is Ruby." Wayne announced. I gave my hand out for the boy, 'Rob', opposite us for him to shake but instead he took it in his and kissed it delicately, making me shudder.

We walked passed the doorway and into the house, the smell of alcohol and weed already hitting me like a brick wall. We were taken into the kitchen where about 15 people were already stood around: girls in the tightest and shortest dresses I had ever seen and guys in track suits, most unappealing.

I was introduced to one girl that I didn't catch the name of, but she shot me a fake smile before turning around to her, supposedly, boyfriend. I could tell I was instantly out of place here.

"Take a seat Rubes." Wayne said, pulling out a seat. Only my family and Luke called me that, it just felt wrong with him saying it. He had no right.

I sat down quietly, hardly saying a word since I had got here. I didn't want any unnecessary attention being drawn towards me. A few other guys pulled some chairs up around us, all of them with the same haircut as each other, shaved to the near point of baldness.

I took a sip of my drink, a sourness hitting my tongue as it entered my mouth, making me want to spit it back out. I put the cup down onto the table, gritting my teeth as I swallowed the disgusting substance and decided I would not be having another mouthful of that.

After half an hour of not saying much I started to feel drowsy, my head not staying upright and my eyes starting to drift off to sleep. I tried so hard to fight the drowsiness but I knew what it was. My drink had been spiked.
