Chapter 71

Ruby's POV

'The plane lands at 6am tomorrow, sorry I couldn't be there today Xx' The text from Danni read, I couldn't believe she was actually getting a plane over at such short notice just for me.

'Thank you so much Danni. I'll see you at the airport Xx' I replied.

Not too long after I had sent the text I received another, this time from James. I'd blocked Luke's number and to be honest it was a relief to not constantly hear from him.

'Come over, we need to speak to you x' James' text said leaving me in a foul mood. I wanted to do anything but see them today, seeing how they'd all believed the false accusations about me.

'Why? I'm trying to have some time away from the house, I guess you've already gathered the reasons for that.'

'Please, we need to apoligise to you in person. Just come over for 15 minutes tops x' As much as I didn't want to, I knew it was best to sort some of it out before Danni arrived.

I took the bus over instead of a cab as it wasn't like I had to get there in any rush and I hadn't really got to know the place all too well yet, so this gave me a chance to see more. After 15 minutes the bus arrived at their nearest stop and I got off, soon arriving at the boys apartment.

I took a deep breath before ringing the door bell, not knowing what to expect other than the fact I'd be faced by the five boys trying to apologise to me. Jai opened the door and tried to pull me into a hug but I stepped back, I wasn't exactly in the mood for any right now.

I walked past to him and went into the living room where I could hear the others, their voices turning silent as they noticed me standing there. I walked in and took a seat on an alone chair, waiting for the first one of them to start talking.

"We're so sorry for believing what she said Rubes, I know she's obviously lying to get Luke back but I just wish we saw that earlier -" Beau began, breaking the silence for a few seconds but it soon came around again once he'd stopped talking.

I didn't know how to reply so I tried to pull off a stubborn face, not letting anger pull me over to it's side. I stared intently at Luke, as much as it annoyed me how the other boys also believe Kiana - none of it hurt as much as the fact my own boyfriend believed such a lie.

"I'm just so sorry, I don't know what more to say." He said quietly.

"You're not really sorry though because you've hurt me yet again." I began, not being able to stop myself in front of everyone. "Everyone in this room knows I have loved you long before I even met you, so to think that all of that love has just gone to waste is too much to be forgiven. I'm going to be staying with Danni for a while then I guess we'll be going home, I'd rather no one followed me." I exited the room, seeing Luke stand up and pace towards me before Daniel pulled him back.

"I know you deserve better than me," Luke called, causing me to stop in my tracks. "And I know I've hurt you, which hurts me to think I could ever do that. I just want you to know that no matter what happens I will always love you, even if you hate me."

His words shattered my heart. I knew I should be hating him after everything but he always got around me. Part of me wanted to run back in there and tell him I wanted to stay with him but then I would be the weak one, I couldn't do that to myself.

I just took a deep breath and carried on walking, trying to block out my possessive thoughts of going back and taking the easy option.

Luke's POV

I couldn't believe I'd lost her again and it was all my fault for believing Kiana's lies. I knew her forgiving us was too good to be true, but I just don't understand how she could be so spiteful.

"Did she say Danni is coming over?" Beau asked as the room fell silent, annoying me slightly how Ruby had just clearly broke up with me but he didn't even seem to care.

"Yeah.." Daniel said with uncertainty, we all knew Beau's first task would be to get her back.

"When she comes we could try and visit, but don't you think we have bigger problems now bro?" Jai said, looking from Beau to me, causing Beau to nod as he realised he'd got a bit ahead of himself.

Now I just had to figure out how to win her back before it was too late.
