Luke's POV

After a few more hours, Harriet, Ria, Lucy and Kiana had to leave, leaving just us boys and Ruby.

"Well that was a bit weird," I said to Ruby as we all walked into the kitchen.

"I know, I thought she hated us after everything?" She questioned as we sat down, I just shrugged my shoulders, unsure of what was going through Kiana's head at this moment in time.

"So how was Harriet?" Beau asked with a smirk, not making it any more obvious if he tried.

"She's great! It was nice spending some time with her, what about Ria, Jai?" He asked, changing the subject.

"Well we're just friends, but I couldn't say that about you and Harriet - you make it so obvious mate." He laughed.

"Either way, we've arranged to meet up again tomorrow at the beach - Ria's coming as well if you guys want to go?" He asked.

"Why not, sounds like a good plan to me." I spoke up, I'd missed the beach so much whilst living in London.

After talking for a while longer we decided to go to bed as it was now the early hours of the morning and we needed some rest. I headed into my room with Ruby, it had actually stayed pretty clean since she had arrived with us - unlike before when the floors were covered in clothes and anything else I was too lazy to put away.

NEXT DAY

"There they are!" James grinned as he spotted Harriet and Ria on the beach by the volleyball courts.

We all headed over, the sun on my body was so hot yet relaxing - I couldn't wait to just sunbathe and get my tan back.We greeted the girls and walked down the beach for a while - James obviously taking the first opportunity he could to chase Harriet down and keep him to herself.

"He's a bit eager..." Ruby laughed as we held hands. "I might try to go talk to Harriet for a bit, he's probably putting him off."

I nodded as she ran ahead and pushed in between them both as I joined Jai and Daniel, Ria and Beau walking just behind us. "Ruby's not gate crashing their date is she?!" Daniel asked me sarcastically, looking concerned which made Jai and I giggle.

"She's trying to calm down James a bit, he's being a bit... forceful." I raised my eyebrows.

James eventually gave up and came to walk with us, looking slightly depressed he'd been broken away from her for a few minutes. "Just rude." He said, indirecting Ruby which made her turn around to stick her tongue at him.

"Shall we go and get something to eat?" Beau called over to us. We all agreed and decided to go to the Blue Lagoon cafe which wasn't too far away.

I sat beside Ruby as James finally got his girl back, not that she had any say in where she sat. We made our orders and broke off into different conversations.

"You didn't embarrass James too much did you?" I asked Ruby with a smirk.

"No, I'm not as mean as I seem." She smiled innocently. "I just got to her know her really, we got along really well. We just talked about England a bit, it's pretty weird how one of my first American friends turn out to actually be English. Oh - and I may have put in a good word for James, just to push the plan along a bit."

"Good, he deserves to be happy." I said, I could be soppy sometimes; if I wanted to be.

After another 5 minutes to food arrived and we all tucked in, not many words spoken as the food was so good, we would definitely have to come back again.

"You guys don't mind Lucy coming over later do you? She's stopping tonight as she's having a rest from her work." Daniel piped up once he had finished his meal. "Apparently Kiana is coming, I'm not sure why though -"

"Before I'd probably have said yes, but last night Kiana apologised to me and Ruby last night, it was a bit weird," I replied, causing the attention of the group come to me.

"Well she did go a bit mad once you broke up with her... What did you say to her?" Jai asked.

"We accepted it, I guess if she wants to put it behind her then I do. There's no point in becoming enemies over nothing, so I guess we're friends now." I replied, Ruby nodding in agreement.

I was just glad both of the girls could now get along, it meant Ruby could be a lot happier living in LA.
