Chapter 35

Ruby's POV

The meetup carried on for hours, more and more girls turning up by the minute until we were completely mobbed by hundreds. I must've taken at least 100 photos with girls myself and I wasn't anyone special at all.

Before we knew it the police had arrived, clearing the area and attempting to get us all out of the crowd. Luke gripped his hand tightly around my waist with one arm as he fought the crowd as best he could with the others.

We eventually made it back to our Uber van that was waiting for us not too far away. I looked over to the others who all seemed to be laughing and pumped from what had just happened, except Danni who seemed a little flustered.

"You alright?" I mouthed to her as she looked at me from the back seat. She gave a me a small smile and a nod, making me feel a little for reassured.

We arrived back at our apartment, luckily no fans had found out where we were yet, though I was almost certain they'd find out soon enough. Lucy was stilling having an adrenalin rush from what she had caused and from meeting so many fans.

We all poured through the doors, laughing at the memories today and how so many people turned up. I looked over to Luke to see his face drop into a confused, or maybe even a frightened emotion.

"You alright Luke?" I asked in a quiet voice as I walked over towards him. He looked over to me from his phone, biting his lip ring.

"Look at this." He said in almost a whisper, passing me his phone. It was a message from a random number.

'End it with Ruby now or else her life is over before it can even begin.' It read, making my heart stop.

"Who would say something like that?" I whispered, I was so scared.

"I don't know but you'll be okay, you've got all of us. It's probably just some pathetic prank." Luke said reassuringly, wrapping his arms around me and pulling me close to his chest. And then it hit me, I was certain I knew who it was.

"Wayne. I bet it was Wayne." I said, making Luke's face drop into a look of hatred. "He's just not going to stop is he?" I said, running my hand through my hair.

"We're going up there tomorrow, I will make him stop." Luke said, rubbing his hand on my back. I nodded and gave him a smile, I always felt so much safer around him.

"Oh my god!" Daniel suddenly yelled, causing everyone's heads to turn in his direction. "A soccer charity thing has invited us to play in London! Called Soccer Six!" He grinned.

"No fucking way, that's sick!" Jai grinned back, they all loved football so much and had always wanted to play for a charity football match.

"Apparently Jeremy has sorted it out for us, it's in a couple of months at Mile End stadium." Daniel explained.

"What's the date for it?" Luke asked.

"August 31st. Apparently there's going to be a ton of celebrities going including Maz!" Skip smiled.

"Better get practising then." I laughed, walking into the kitchen. "I'll cook some pasta." I shouted to the others which they all seemed happy about.

Luke followed me in after a few seconds, claiming to want to "help", which I knew he would be hopeless at. I instructed him to cut up some vegetables as that was surely easy enough for him to follow.

"I still can't believe Wayne sent that message, I never knew how pathetic his life really was." I sighed, not being to let it go.

"He'll be out of our lives soon. Don't worry." Luke replied, hugging me from behind and kissing the top of my head. I nodded, although I still wasn't happy about the situation.

Luke's phone buzzed from the table he was working on, I was hoping it wouldn't be Wayne again. "What the fuck," Luke said, making me turn to face him.

"What's wrong?" I asked, worried.

"That number sent another message, but with a picture attached - of us hugging literally seconds ago." He said, looking up at me with confusion.

He passed me his phone quickly and ran over to the window, peering out but unable to see anyone. We were both so scared and confused.

"It can't be Wayne, he's in Coventry." I said with fright, this was actually someone being serious. What if they really meant what they said about ending my life?
