Chapter 13

Ruby's POV

I woke up, again in Luke's bed, oops. I peered around the room to see everyone fast asleep, I was the only one awake. This was my chance to take revenge on them all. I softly nudged Luke to wake him up, his lips curving upwards as his eyes opened and looked up at me.

"Morning sleepyhead." I whispered with a giggle. "We're the only ones awake." I smirked but I think he was too tired to catch on.

He rubbed his eyes, sitting up in bed as he woke up properly. "We can get our own back!" He whispered, finally catching into what I was thinking and smirking at me. "What's the plan?"

"Hmm, I was thinking a nice bit of refreshing ice? There's a free machine at the end of the hallway." I replied, excited for the prank.

"You go, I'll make sure everyone is asleep still. Take the kettle and that weird jug thing." Luke whispered, gesturing the table nearby.

I tiptoed over, carefully picking them up and leaving the room, keeping the door open so we could be as quiet as possible. I walked down the hallway, reaching the ice machine and filling the kettle and jug to the top, we were such nice people I thought to myself.

I paced back down the hall and into the room, handing the kettle to Luke as we grinned at each other, trying to contain our laughter. I mouthed 3 2 1 to Luke then we threw the ice, mine covering Beau and Danni and Luke's covering Jai and James that somehow ended up sleeping together, Daniel got out lucky.

Beau opened his eyes with a gasp, staring up at me with horror as Danni slowly moved her head upwards like she had just seen a ghost, I couldn't help but burst out with laughter.

"YOU DICK!" I heard Jai scream to Luke from behind me as he tackled Luke to the ground, James piling on top.

"It wasn't my idea!" Luke said in defence, blaming me.

"Oi, I thought we were partners in crime!" I squealed through my endless laughter as Jai suddenly tackled me to the bed, torturing me with tickling.

Daniel woke up, clueless, looking around the chaos filled room with confusion on his face. "What?" He said, making us all laugh at him and making Jai finally get off me.

"Those idiots decided to almost give us a heart attack!" Danni yelled as she continued to brush the ice from her lap and off the bed, making me giggle.

"Aw, you didn't get me? I feel so loved." Daniel joked with a smile as he brought me and Luke into a group hug.

"1 all now thought, you can't hate us too much." Luke smirked at Beau who still seemed annoyed at us which just made it so much more funny.

After they all got the ice cleaned up, which I didn't help at all with being the helpful person I am, we got ready to go out for the day. I pulled on my jeans and a crop top with a flannel, quickly doing my makeup and brushing my hair.

Somehow Danni and I were ready first, and that's saying something for me, so we sat on the bed chatting for a while.

"I can't believe tomorrow night they'll be gone." I said, pulling my extra sad face, Danni copying my face.

"I know." Danni paused, I could tell she was thinking about something. "Beau asked me to go with them." She whispered, biting her lip.

I smiled, it sounded like great news. "Aw, what did you say?" I asked.

"Well of course I want to go, but I will have to somehow convince my mum in the next 24 hours, I'll need help with that." She laughed, I joined in. "Has Luke asked you?"

"No, I doubt I could go anyway." I said, sighing. "You need to ask your mum anyway, worth a try." I smiled as she nodded.

After another 5 minutes of waiting the boys were finally ready and we left the hotel room. We decided to go to the park and just spend the day together talking and having fun since tomorrow they would be leaving us.

"I bet I can rave you there!" James called over to me, running off and having a head start. I sprinted after him, being chased by the others. I finally caught up and overtook him, causing a loud groaning noise that made me chuckle.

After a couple of minutes of running we arrived at the park and I collapsed onto the grass, absolutely exhausted. "Dibs on the swing!" Daniel yelled as he continued to run to the play area, followed by Beau and Danni.

"You coming?" Luke asked, offering his hand to help me get up which I took with a smile. We thankfully walked over, allowing me to regain my breath.

I decided now would be an ideal opportunity to blast "Set This World On Fire" from my phone, a song they all seemed to hate now.

"No!!" Beau shouted as his part started playing, sprinting after me as I ran around the play area trying not to get caught until he finally got me and took my phone, turning off the song making me boo at him.

We spent the rest of the day at the park just messing around and being ourselves, it was so lovely that we could be ourselves around them.
