Alrighty, so after some thought I've decided that this chapter will never be good enough in my eyes to be a full blown addition, so this is more of a transition, just like how the last episode of V8 that I watched(6 I think?) was more of a transition as well. That said, this will be extremely short, and I should be able to catch up over the weekend to bring out a full fledged chapter.

Side note: So, until DE releases more interesting content *cough*Duviri Paradox*cough*The rest of the New War storyline*cough*, I won't be playing the game very often. Still, if any of you are up to talk or play games with me, my Steam, Riot, and Discord User will be on my bio. I will also be adding my Black Desert Online User there too, since I'm playing that game more often lol.

Thanks for you patience!

Flesh not unlike Nidus' own kept him restrained against the wall. Earlier in the day, the witch had slammed him into it, before it grew rapidly and covered nearly his entire body(A/N: Think people trapped in the nests from Alien). He had tried to free himself by forcing the flesh to decay through Infestation, but it would just grow back twice as fast. So he just hung there, stuck. His 'cell' was entirely pink, like the inside of a human mouth, courtesy of what was apparently the inside of a Grimm. Occasionally, he'd hear it's loud bellow.

Every few hours, he would hear someone beating another someone next door, and it would always end with the one being beaten groaning in pain. Whenever it happened, Nidus' antennae would twitch. It was disheartening, hearing the same person being tortured, though it could definitely have been worse.

The Caustacyst that was given to him had been taken away. Obviously, because prisoners didn't need weapons. He grumbled to himself, promising to take it back if he escaped. That, in itself, was an ordeal. He couldn't move, after all, and again, the decay rate of the flesh he was trapped in was slower than how fast it regenerated. Still, he struggled, hoping to just get lucky. The Infestation roared in pain as the flesh squeezed tightly, cutting off blood flow, but Nidus didn't stop. Instead, he kept pulling against his restraints. Purple and red blood began to spew out of his arm, and he began to lose feeling in it. That was when he finally stopped. Damaging his Warframe to the point of no return was something he was unwilling to do, even with Infested healing factor. Soon enough, his damaged arm healed while the flesh binding him loosened up, only because he had given up and returned to his neutral position against the wall.

It felt like several hours had passed when the 'door' which was more like a mass of flesh that flexed to allow entry, opened. A young woman who wore an eyepatch and a red dress entered. She was rather pretty, and if there wasn't constant malice in her eyes, then Nidus would've been more appeased. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Behind her, a girl with olive skin and green eyes and a brown, pink and white clad girl followed.

The Infestation growled while Nidus stared at the three, unsure of what was happening.

The first woman's eyes narrowed. "So, you're like her," she said with a certain venom in her voice. Nidus didn't respond. Suddenly, the flesh holding him against the wall loosened and peeled, and he fell to his knees.

The second he touched the ground, fungus sprouted everywhere. Clouds of spores spread. The pent up energy that the Infested kept inside suddenly burst out, threatening to overtake the entire area. The Infestation roared in triumph, only to realize it was short lived. Heat flared around, erasing the fungus and spores. Fire engulfed the area, stopping the spread of Infestation. The red woman's eyes glowed a fiery orange.

"Salem wants everyone to gather, including prisoners, so I guess I'm taking you."

Nidus didn't respond, but the Infestation roared angrily. The green haired girl pulled out two guns, each with a short blade at the end. She pointed them at him and the blades fired out, chains wrapping around him, the blade sinking into his flesh to hold him. He grunted in pain, and purple blood began to run down his side.

The girl tugged at the chains, "Let's go."

The central area turned out to be where Nidus and the pale lady had their standoff. The chair in the center(was that bone?) was carved like stone into a throne-like shape. It looks like veins that trailed out under it, be into the massive being that they all stayed in.

Three primary figures knelt at the pale woman's feet. The furthest to the left was a boy wearing black and gray clothes. Next was the red-clad girl who had brought Nidus here. After that was a sadistic looking man who bore a scorpion tail. It twitched occasionally. Finally, a large, burly man who was rather hairy with a full beard and scarred arms knelt. Next to him, a boy who couldn't be more than 16. Was forced down on his knees. His entire body was bruised and cut. Occasionally, he would cough, and it was then that Nidus knew that this was the prisoner next to him.

The green haired girl released him to the pale woman's audience. The room was silent as a sudden force seemed to push down on him, as if it was pulling him down to his knees. He struggled for a few seconds, noticing the glare that the pale woman kept on him while he tried to stay standing, until finally, he gave in. The Infestation growled in anger, but otherwise, nothing happened. A slight smirk appeared on the pale woman's face, before she turned to address the group before her.

All the while, Nidus struggled to leave. He listened in on the pale woman's speech, something about finally engaging Atlas directly. Behind her, several Sentients hovered out into view, chiming gracefully. The atmosphere changed, from one of obedience to one of discomfort and fear.

Infestation crept onto the ground, slowly spreading, but not fast enough for anyone to notice. Nidus' heart beat faster and faster. This was his chance to leave.

Skye watched as several Grimm crawled up the side of the city. The centipede-like creatures spun as they dug through the hovering earth, before slamming themselves into one of the many shield emitters that protected Atlas. A loud, ominous creaking echoed through the tundra as the emitter fell out of place. The invisible shields flickered blue, before shutting down completely.

She stared as the massive Whale dove straight towards the floating city. Her eyes narrowed, "So Salem's making her move... Ordis, launch me an archwing. Odanata will be fine."
