Remnant's Only Tenno [Warframe x RWBY]

Trouble in the Cafeteria and the First Class the Tenno Teaches

So, a couple chapters in and I've decided that Skye's story will not completely follow the story of RWBY. The overarching storyline of RWBY will be the same, fall of beacon, Ren and Nora's backstory, Salem and Ozpin's history, blah blah blah, but I don't want to make it seem like Skye is just a side character. So in the future, there might be some changes from the RWBY storyline.

That being said, enjoy this part!

By lunch, Skye was the talk of the school. Every time she passed by a group of students, she'd hear whispers of awe and respect. Not bad to build a good reputation, She thought to herself.

As she wandered the cafeteria, making sure students behaved themselves, she heard her name being called energetically, "Miss Zariman!" Skye turned and saw a girl with jet black hair, tipped red, and silver eyes, waving at her. The Tenno ran through her memory, trying to find the name. Ruby Rose.

Skye walked towards her table, and was surprised to see Weiss, along with their other teammates. Blake Belladonna, Yang Xiao Long. She reminded herself of their names.

"Hello Team RWBY, is there something I can help you with?" Skye tilted her Warframe head to the side, expecting a flurry of words against someone who had probably broken some sort of minor rule.

"No, I just wanted to meet you! You were so cool when you killed that Grimm! I didn't realize there was a Huntress like you!" Ruby shook with excitement. It didn't seem like Weiss shared the thought though. The white-clad girl had her eyes downcast with humiliation.

"Weiss, was it?" Skye said to her. Instantly, the student's head shot up, her eyes displaying fear for what was to happen to her.

"I can see that you're beating yourself up for what happened during Grimm Studies."

"W-wha? No I wasn't!" Weiss replied, a bit too quickly.

Skye sighed, "You can't expect to get everything perfect the first time. No, you didn't kill the Grimm as quickly as I did, and you didn't kill it as efficiently either. But that's no reason for you to sulk. None of this was a setback. You learned something didn't you?" Weiss nodded solemnly, "then there is no reason to be upset. A school is a place to learn. If you already knew everything about being a Huntress, then you wouldn't need to be here. So snap out of it."

A yelp of pain caught the attention of the Tenno. Her head swerved around and saw a faunus with brown hair and very noticeable bunny ears. Around her sat team CRDL, with their leader, Cardin Winchester, pulling said ears. One of his team members made a snide comment, seemingly about whether or not the ears were real.

Skye's eye twitched behind the face of her Warframe. "Excuse me, team RWBY."
The Tenno waved a hand, willing the sound of her footsteps and rustling Nikana to be erased. Reminded of the way the Tenno were treated under the Orokin, she walked toward Cardin, an eerie calm suddenly overtaking her. Team RWBY looked to each other nervously as the student-teacher walked away.

"Let her go." A quiet voice demanded behind Cardin. He turned and saw the new teacher, Miss... something. He couldn't be bothered to remember, he was sure she wouldn't be important. It was a little unnerving that no one could hear her though.

"Hey teach. Sorry 'bout the fresh game here. We can't let wild animals in the school now can we?" He sneered.

"Maybe you didn't hear me. Let her go," No trace of anger was in her voice. The entire cafeteria was quiet now, watching the confrontation. Cardin turned back to the faunus girl.
