Part 3: Nidus

I've been watching a ton of anime and Jabami Yumeko from Kakegurui has a chance of overtaking Albedo from Overlord as my waifu lmao.

The pacing for this part might be a little messy, since there's a lot happening at once, so I apologize.

Skye stood in the security chamber where Nidus was held. Her black and blue Frost's hands shimmered with glacial power. It was just about time to reset the Snow Globe.

Ice swirled around her as she clenched her fists. The flying snow bound together into a beautiful crystal frame of swirling snow.

"Process complete. Can I get out of here now?" She asked the security team.

"Right. Opening inner hatch." A door opened inside and she walked out into a small glass chamber. The door slammed shut behind her. "Pressurizing, temperature released. Opening outer hatch." The second door opened, allowing her to exit.

Though it didn't really affect her, the sudden heat was reassuring, signalling the safety she was in. The freezing cold of Nidus' chamber was uncomfortable and always kept her on edge.

"Tell the General that I'll be changing in my Orbiter."

Once she finished changing into her Banshee, she stepped out to see Ironwood and Winter stepping into one car, and team RWBYNJR, Qrow, and Oscar into another. The other Tenno hovered over the cars as an air escort using their Archwings.

"Hey!" Skye called to the General right before he stepped inside.

"What is it, Skye?" he asked.

"What's happening? Where are we going?"

"Jacques Schnee has invited the council to a banquet in his manor. It's a little unsettling, but I'm sure we'll be able to manage. I suggest the Tenno bring less powerful Warframes, more towards the restraining side, rather than the killing side, just in case things get out of hand outside."

"Oh. Well, I guess I'll get back to go change then."

"That would be great."

Skye looked up to the sky where her comrades hovered. Rhino and Trinity were still Rhino and Trinity, but the other two had swapped to Harrow and Mag.

"Ordis, get back here, and prep our resident speedster."

When Ironwood saw her wearing the streamlined Warframe, he asked, "That looks like a runner rather than a captor."

Skye shrugged at that, "They can't escape if there's someone to catch them."

"Fair enough. I'll see you at Schnee Manor."

What Ironwood didn't expect when they began driving was a black and blue figure running next to them. He stared, stunned. Skye saluted before running at speeds far faster than the eye could see, overtaking the cars. When they reached the Manor, the figure was tapping their foot, waiting.

"Hello, General. Took you guys a bit longer than I anticipated," Skye said, a small tone of pleasure in her voice.

It was needless to say that the Schnee manor was big. Big couldn't even describe it. The overall size of the main building rivalled that of six Railjack Hangers put right next to each other. But to be honest, running through the entire place as Gauss would've been a piece of cake.
