While team RNJR engaged on the giant Grimm, Skye ripped off the magazine to her Kuva Chakkhur. The cylinder shaped container was filled with massive bullets, all designed to split apart when fired, and to stay in one shape when going for a precision shot.

She shook the container and heard a faint rattling noise. One of the shells had come loose from its position, blocking the spring mechanism that pushed the ammo forward. She had gotten lucky. If the gun was jammed but the hammer managed to strike one of the bullets, the whole gun would've blown apart. She tore off the cap that protected the delicate mechanics from the elements, and got to work realigning the spring mechanism and resetting the loose bullet. Her hands shook as she heard the Grimm screaming in agony, and the yells of her students as they tried to kill it.

I have to help somehow! She thought. Void energy pulsed in her palm as she raised a hand pointed at the Grimm. For a brief moment, the monster didn't react, then it screamed in agony, it's long, spindly arms covering where it's ears would've been if it had ears, Silence forcing it into a massive headache. The horse part of it reared back in pain.

Skye turned back to fixing her gun. She knew once she finished, one hit from the massive rifle should kill the beast. Ren cried out in anger, though she wasn't sure why. Slashing noises came ahead of her, followed by the Grimm's agonizing screeches. She was almost finished now, all 15 bullets realigned perfectly. She slammed the cap back on and shoved it back into the rifle. The sound of a wind up noise and click signalled that the weapon was once again fully functional.

Immediately, she bullet jumped forward towards the monster's human chest. It batted away Nora, who was trying to bash it's head in, just as Skye reached it. The thick barrel of her Kuva weapon slammed into the Grimm's chest. She glared at it behind her helmet, "Ugly bastard," and pulled the trigger.

Skye leapt back as the Grimm screamed in agony, a massive hole in it's chest. How the hell is it still alive?!

The Grimm wildly flailed it's elastic arms, slamming into her students, "No!" Skye cried.

They each got to their feet, a bit dazed, but otherwise alright, though she wasn't sure about their aura levels, "I'll deal with this thing while you guys come up with a strategy!" She dashed forward, cones of blue light whirling through the air as her sword cleaved through. Each impact simply glanced off the Grimm's body or missed completely. It's like fighting a rank five lich! She thought, though it was probably even more difficult. She twirled through the air, swapping to her pistols, which fired at ludicrous speeds before she slammed back down towards the Grimm.

Skye heard a gunshot that wasn't hers. Ruby flew through the air, the recoil of her weapons throwing her backwards. The Grimm deflected her bullets with its arm before extending it, trying to grab her. With one more bullet, the girl's shot slammed the hand down to the ground, before she fired backwards, launching herself towards it, then pinning it down with her scythe. The creature let out an ear-piercing scream. A knife flew out from the nothingness, pinning into the Grimm's hide.

It turned to find a new target, and found the unmoving Jaune, just standing there with his longsword. Its arm stretched out, trying to pin him to the wall behind him. Suddenly, Ren came out of nowhere carrying his friend's shield, slamming into the back of the Grimm's hand, "Now!" the green boy cried. Jaune ran to him and drove his sword through the Grimm's hand. Another painful screech from the monster.
