Alright bois! So this is where the Heart of Deimos joins in with this story. We still have four days, but I just wanted to put Helminth in here. That being said, enjoy!

The Tenno's hand tightened around her sword, though she made no move to draw. The name was familiar. She scanned through her memory, searching for anything that would help her recognize it. Textbooks, the news, recent history...

Suddenly it came to her. Her eyes narrowed, but Adam didn't notice behind her helmet. "What does the White Fang want with this school?" Skye asked, her voice tense, wary of her adversary. This man was someone who was definitely worth that caution, similar to that of a Kuva Lich.

"The White Fang doesn't want anything here. On the other hand, I do," He took a small step forward, his head tilted downward threateningly. "Where is Blake Belladonna?"

Skye leaned forward in her ready stance. "Even if I knew, you think I would sell out one of my students?"

Adam shrugged, "I won't hurt anyone as long as they don't get in my way."

"But that's the issue. No matter what, there's going to be someone in your way, whether it be a random civilian, or one of Blake's teammates. So it's basically guaranteed someone's going to get hurt, and I'd rather that be me than one of my students."

"Hmph," Adam leaned forward, his hands at the ready on his sword. Void energy wrapped around Skye's foot as she channeled her power. Within a few moments, her foot glowed, filled with power. She took a deep breath, and stomped her foot as hard as she could. The energy was expelled instantly, and the resulting Sonic Boom shattered glass and forced the fire around them to flicker wildly. Adam, however, was unfazed, and merely slid backwards a few feet.

The red-haired faunus leapt towards Skye, his sword still in its scabbard. What's he gonna do, slap me around with his pommel? The sound of steel hissing against the Nikana's Argon scabbard echoed through the hall, along with the calm crackle of freezing air. Skye brought down her cold blade, keen to chop Adam in half.

In a flash, Adam caught the blade with his own, his sword partially drawn. Contrary to Skye's ice-blue weapon, the sword against her was a deep, blood like color. The dark red blade began to glow bright, and Adam began to back away, sheathing his sword. For a short moment, Skye felt as though he was gonna retreat, but she saw the flash of malice on his face. His hand moved faster than she could see, and suddenly the air around her became the same bright red as his weapon.

Instinctively, she ducked under the lightning fast attack, and it just barely missed her. She heard the hiss of steel on steel as Adam sheathed his sword once again. She rose slowly, then turned to see the damage. Her jaw nearly dropped as she saw several pillars behind her slashed in half. The sound of footsteps racing towards her brought her attention back to Adam, who ran towards her, his long weapon ready to strike again.

A resounding clang rang down the halls as Skye deflected the blade with her own, before drawing one of her pistols and firing rapidly at the Faunus. Adam once again blocked each shot with his sword, and once more, the sword glowed a bright red.

It seems like he can only do that incredible attack when he blocks any sort of damage with his sword. Skye thought.

"I can't say I've seen a weapon like yours," Adam called to Skye, "and I definitely don't like the freezing cold I feel whenever I get near it."

"Hmph, I don't like your sword either. It's really not very CONVENIENT!" she yelled the last bit and immediately dashed forward, her sword spinning around her as she slid a full 360 degrees. Whatever solid material she cut was then filled with ice wherever there was damage. Adam leapt back, but not before the sword caught on his sleeve. Immediately, the entire sleeve shattered to pieces due to the below freezing properties of the Nikana. Shards of ice bit into his arm, and he grimaced in pain.
