Part 3: The Train to Argus

And here we are with part 3 of Remnant's Only Tenno! This part will focus on the journey to Argus and the beginning of the Atlas Arc, and possibly the entirety of it with V8 if my timing is right. 

So I've been playing a lot of Genshin Impact, and as a Warframe player who normally covers 600 m distances in like ten seconds, running around in Genshin sucks lol. Still, fun game tho.

The group now sat at the train station, ready to head to Argus. Skye tapped her foot as they waited on Ruby and Qrow. Blake had just gotten back from saying goodbye to Sun. Team JNPR slept and scrolled through their Scrolls.

Finally, the leader of team RWBY came back, holding a small shopping bag.

Yang gasped, "Ooh, what did you get me?"

Ruby pulled the bag back and grinned, "You'll have to see!" She said in a sing-song voice.

The blonde growled and tried to reach over and take the bag away from her younger sister.

Skye watched the two as they horsed around. Next to her, the dust and dirt that was evident on her Banshee had been wiped clean. The gold and blue Warframe glittered like it did back at Beacon. However, she hadn't put the Syandana back on just yet.

Before they had arrived at the station, the group had planned out how they were gonna get to Atlas. Due to Ironwood closing their borders and the Dust embargo, their only access was through the trade city of Argus, to the north.

Though they could have used the Orbiter, Skye had actually sent Ordis out to try and find the source of the Tenno proximity alarm. So they all agreed to use the train. After a few hours of debating, she also made the decision to return Banshee's Sonar and remove the invisibility. It was little more than a gimmick now, and she couldn't help but think that in the past, Sonar would have been more useful in many situations.

Two obnoxious voices cut through her thoughts. "We couldn't help but overhear some expressions of concern!" Skye looked up two see two Huntsmen, probably freshly graduated, standing in front of her.

"We're this train's professional Huntsmen, and we'll be protecting the passengers on this trip." One of them said.

"Of course, if you ladies give us something a little extra, we'll be happy to give you some extra special attention."

Yang and Ruby cast looks at them that just oozed annoyance. They didn't seem to notice.

Skye kicked one of them lightly, "Beat it, idiots. We can take care of ourselves."

They turned to her, surprised and annoyed at the Tenno, "Excuse me, you're talking to a-"

"Professional Huntsman?" Skye cut him off, "Cool. Doesn't change what I said."

"Well-"

Another voice chimed in, gravelly and grouchy, "Wow, that's a nice unlocked service door. I wonder if a professional Huntsman would really leave one open."

The two whirled around to see Qrow standing there, hands in his pockets. Skye smirked as he built off of her joke.

"Wha- I didn't do it!" One of them cried to there other. His companion sighed.

"C'mon idiot," the two turned and left.

Qrow moved to sit next to Skye, "Some professional Huntsmen they are."
