We back bois! Remnant's Only Tenno has returned from hiatus! We have around 4 or 5 episodes of RWBY v8, and that should be enough for the first part of Part 4. Apologies for any issues with pacing or storytelling. If you couldn't tell from the lack of uploads on Blades of the Lotus, I've been pretty out of practice.

I'm rewatching Naruto and it's pretty fun ngl.

Enjoy!

Skye stormed through the Atlesian halls, carving crystals of ice with her freezing blade. The Tenno had left behind her comrades, and entered the school, searching for Ironwood. The other Blades had tried to stop her, but she pulled herself away, "I need to talk to him."

Rhino stared at her, a little accusingly, "What made you change your mind so quickly?"

"The Sentients. They completely changed the tide at Beacon. If it was just the Grimm, we could've won with me and Umbra there, but as soon as the Sentients were there, everything went to shit."

Oberon put a hand on her shoulder, "We can fight this."

She laughed, "You can't be serious. The largest Grimm horde that anyone on this planet has seen on top of an army of Sentients? Our odds have been bad before, but not this bad. Six Tenno against the world. No. I need to talk to Ironwood. Now."

However, just as she began to float away, Trinity stopped her, "Didn't you hear what I said earlier? We wait for whoever makes the first move. If Atlas begins to rise, we take the Wanderer to siege it. If Salem's army invades, we use our archwings and specters."

"And what if Atlas rises when Salem strikes? What then? As strong as we are, Tenno aren't powerful enough to clear a large scale area like this. We do what we can to fight off hordes of enemies on their military bases, hell, we fight giant monsters. But I've never seen any of us become strong enough to defend two cities the size of the Plains with only three people. Nidus is only a kid, too. He barely knows how to control himself. So we have an Initiate level Tenno who's as much a threat to us as he is to the enemy because of his Infestation, and five Blades, who, while strong, still aren't at levels high enough to deal with threats this massive."

Trinity bit her lip, realizing that her younger friend was right. Still, she had to say something, "Banshee, Atlas can still be returned after Salem is defeated."

"And we'd be sacrificing everyone in Mantle to do it. That's not what Tenno do. We fight to maintain order. Sacrificing an entire city isn't worth a victory. Otherwise we would've given up Cetus and Fortuna to get at the Grineer and Corpus."

At last, Trinity gave in. Skye was determined, her mind, set. Just a few minutes ago, she was tentative, and used her better judgement to determine that the best course of action was to wait. But now, her moral compass pointed her to Ironwood, and Trinity knew that she couldn't stop her. "Fine. Be careful. I don't want the situation in Atlas to get any worse than it is."

And that brought Skye to the medical bay of the Atlas Academy. Two Atlesian soldiers held up hands to stop her, "You are not allowed to enter, miss." Skye didn't respond. Instead, she simply clenched a fist and watched as both soldiers doubled over in pain. Blood began to leak out of their ears.

She continued her march, bursting the eardrums or knocking the soldiers in her way unconscious. She made it just in time to see a chilling sight. The sight of General Ironwood shooting an older man in a suit. The sight made her blood freeze. Ironwood, the man who should be the symbol of justice, of peace, for Remnant, murdered a man in cold blood. In anger, Skye dashed forward, screaming, "Ironwood!"
