Remnant's Only Tenno [Warframe x RWBY]

Part 2: Blades of the Lotus

Smokes' finally clearing from where I live, and the new set for Magic: The Gathering pre-releases today! I'm pretty hyped, and I finally have a reason to play Warframe again now that a few of my friends just got into it. It would be pretty cool though, if Blade of the Lotus skins could just be given to people. Cuz then I could have my Banshee Prime look cool ehehehe :P

The Steel Gale was being towed by twelve Orbiters, a combination of Lisets, Mantises, and Nightwaves. The four Blades shivered belowdecks. They had gotten extremely lucky. About three hours after they lost power, the three squads of Orbiters managed to reach their location and had their Cephalons send out some cables to attach to the Railjack. The group of Orbiters now headed towards the one of the hangers of the massive Blade dojo. The Steel Gale's hanger was decorated silver and bronze, with lightning striking at the center of each platform.

The Blades heard the loud ka-chunk of the arms attaching to the sides of the Railjack. Instantly, the lights came back on, and the hum of electricity ran through the massive ship. The four Tenno stood, and shakily headed towards the exit. Saryn tried to bullet jump off the exit, but her legs were still numb, so she slipped and landed face first on the platform.

"Ow..." she said, her voice muffled. The other three hopped off, careful not to overexert anything. Some Solaris engineers came by and walked up to Trinity.

"So, heard you guys ran into some trouble around the Void?" He asked.

The red Warframe scratched her neck, "Yeah. For some reason there was a massive gathering of Sentients there. We spent three Earth days extra on the mission. Ran out of fuel after the Sentients kept sending boarding crews at us every 30 minutes. Lucky enough to have some of the nearby Tenno pick us up after sending a distress signal."

"And right so, Tenno. Report on damage?"

The hanger echoed with the deep, monotone voice of Cephalon Cy, "Shields: 80% depleted, Engines: empty, Hull integrity: 30%." The group followed the Solaris engineer to the Railjack settings.

"Hm. This is quite the damage. Those Sentient muckers sure did a number on you. I'll contact Eudico, see if we can get any spare parts for cheap, and we'll have you loot the rest from your missions. For now, Steel Gale is going to have to sit on the bench until we get the proper resources."

"Thank you," Trinity said. She gestured to the Blades, "Let's head to the private cafe at the top floor. We can talk about Umbra's findings there."

The four Tenno in their Operator forms sat leisurely at their small, round table. Oberon was a short, thin man with dark skin, gray-black hair and wide green eyes. He sat as though he didn't want any trouble, his body slouched, his arms stiff. Rhino, who sat like you expected him to, arms crossed, eyes closed, like some ninja from an anime, was a tall, toned man with long silver hair fashioned into a topknot, with two locks framing his face. Saryn scooted around uncomfortably, her violet eyes looking for a more comfortable spot. She was shaped exactly like her Warframe, curvy and voluptuous. On her head she grew obviously dyed orange hair, that seemed to glitter like flames in the right light. Lastly, Trinity, in all her maroon glory, sat poised and proper, as expected of the eldest Blade.

A human waiter walked up to them and handed out their usual orders, a green, vegetable smoothie for Oberon, cherry soda for Saryn, cold water for Rhino, and rich yellow tea for Trinity. The maroon Tenno nodded thanks to the waiter and waved her hand. The sound proofing barrier fitted around each table came to life, and all sound from the cafe ceased.
