Here we are. A major plot point in RWBY, and it's not so different with Skye. There's nothing much to say here. Enjoy-DrySkeleton
Skye's eyes widened when Yang's gauntlet made contact with her opponent's leg. The silver haired boy screamed in pain. Meanwhile, Yang backed away, stunned by what she had done. Her opponent moaned in agony.
The Tenno jumped down. Yang looked around as six Atlesian Knights surrounded her. Skye stood between the blond and her opponent, analyzing the situation.
"Miss Zariman!" said Yang, "You don't understand! He attacked me!" Skye tilted her head, then sighed.
"Even if that were true, that's not what the audience saw today. We're going to have to end this match. Go to your dorm. The Knights will escort you." Yang stood, unmoving, and the Knights forced her away, until she was out of sight from the arena. Skye turned to the groaning boy and helped him up.
"You alright?"
"Y-yeah..." he said. He wouldn't meet her eyes, but for a moment, Skye thought she had seen a small flash of glee on his face. Her eyes narrowed behind the helmet, but she didn't let on that she was suspicious.
"Let's get you to the infirmary." She snapped her fingers, and another entourage of Atlesian Knights came to escort the boy to the medical bay. Skye turned towards the academy dorm rooms and began to tread her way to team RWBY.
The normally energetic team felt washed over by something. Yang sat, shaking. Ironwood had just told her that they couldn't keep her in the tournament for something only she had seen, and so, Yang was disqualified. The rest of her team comforted her, trying to get her back to her chipper, happy self.
Skye entered just as Ironwood left. The two nodded in acknowledgement, before the General walked away, most likely back to the stands to watch the next match. Skye entered team RWBY's room. She looked around, a little amused by the way it was put together. The team had set up bunk beds from the original beds. One side had been stacked on top of several books, while the other one was tied up and hanging unsafely from the ceiling.
On the bookshelf between the beds, were the teams weapons, stacked on top of each other in their rush to comfort their teammate. Skye sat across from the four students, legs crossed, tapping the foot on the floor.
Weiss looked at her angrily, "What? Did you come to make Yang feel even worse?"
Skye looked at her for a moment, then shook her head. "I'm here to ask her some questions. Not the same ones Ironwood asked. It's about what she saw in the arena." She looked at the blond haired warrior. "Is that alright with you?" She nodded.
"Okay. So, what did you see?"
"Well, Mercury, after I had knocked him down, I turned around he suddenly he was flying at me, ready to kick me. I reacted by punching his leg." Skye's eyebrows were raised.
"Hm. But the audience didn't see that kick..." She said to herself. All they saw was Yang breaking Mercury's leg. She looked again at Yang. No trace of deception were in those lavender eyes, and Skye knew there was something going on.
"Alright then. Yang, get some rest."
"Wait! You acted like you believed her! So why don't you?" Blake said angrily. Skye stopped.
"I do believe her. But I can't change the rules. I'm just a teacher. But I can say," she said, turning to team RWBY, "that I will do whatever I can to find out exactly what happened. For now, take a break, team RWBY. Watch the rest of the festival. I'm sure after constant action, you girls need it." Skye walked out of the room, closing the door behind her, and turned back towards the stadium.
