A point blank blast of pure magic sent Oberon flying. He bounced off of the wall, before slamming into the ground, his shields flickering out, before a red aura began to glow around him. Immediately, a pulse of scarlet energy covered the area, spreading from Trinity, healing the injured Huntsmen and Tenno. The floor was still covered with Infestation, biting at the heels of Salem, but the maggots did little to have any meaningful effect on her.

"I have to say," Salem growled, "I'm surprised a world like yours has magic."

Trinity bit her lip, unsure how to respond. Finally, she relented. After all, Oberon's attempt at killing her had both succeeded and failed, succeeded in casting the Requiem, but failing to actually kill their target. "If you were made immortal through Kuva, the blood of the ancients, then you would've been dead where you lay."

The witch sneered, "Well I think I know my own history well enough to say that I wasn't gifted with this... Kuva. My longevity is something that can't be ended until Remnant has been made into nothing but a wasteland."

"Yes, well, we still have a few tricks up our sleeves."

Arms thicker than bazooka barrels wrapped around Salem's torso, lifting her off the ground, crushing her. She growled in pain. The arms arced with electricity and fire.

With enough strength to lift several buildings, Hazel threw Salem as hard as he could, bending and breaking her body. He turned towards the Huntsmen and Tenno. The Grimm hands retracted into the earth.

"Go!" He yelled. Salem's body repaired itself once more, before she rose into the air, dust particles and stone swirling around her legs. Hazel growled before jamming more Dust into his arms. Energy of all colors ran down his body. It was amazing how even now, he could even move.

Maggots rose up from the ground, crawling up his body, before rising up to Salem, spreading Infestation to make it harder to escape.

"Time to go!" Oberon yelled before leaping up to his archwing and flying off. Rhino followed next. Lastly, Trinity brought Nidus op to the Odonata.

"The archwing will attach itself to you when it detects Void energy. Just let it touch your back." She then gracefully attached herself and flew off.

Nidus jumped reluctantly, and plummeted down towards the ground. The wind rushed around his head, body, at speeds that were more than a little concerning. He screamed in fear, before feeling something stop him suddenly. On his back, the archwing had attached itself, and slowed him down until he hovered over the tundra.

"Whoa..." he said, a little in awe of the machine. It whirred, it's engines moving at speeds beyond comprehension.

Over comms, Trinity called to him, "Think about which direction you want to go in and the archwing will follow through." With that, Nidus envisioned following his seniors, and blasted off after them.

Things weren't as simple for the Huntsmen. Emerald, Jaune, Yang, Ren, and Oscar were now all free, and each of them ran towards the pod as fast as they could while Hazel and the Infestation held Salem back. Wild blasts of magic whizzed by them, nowhere near hitting the mark.
