[22] Anxious

The reason Lia woke up this morning was because of the immense shouting in the hallway, she also heard the voice of her girlfriend, but decided to just turn to the other side and continue sleeping.

Ryujin was probably able to handle this.

"I DESPISE YOU, YOU THIRSTY... uh... GECKO!"

"YEJI, CALM DOWN, IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK!"

"LIAR!"

Then, the door flew open, Ryujin coming in, before closing it again with a loud bang and then jumping behind the bed to hide.

So, the first thing Lia saw was a totally stressed out baby who grinned when she noticed how her lover parted her eyelids.

Her voice then became a lot more soothing, comparing to the way she was screaming in the hallway just a few seconds ago.

"Good morning boo, we might have a slight problem. But it's okay, I can handle it, just close you eyes and go back to wonderland."

"Alright... Why is Yeji freaking out like that?"

"She might have heard us last night, or more specifically you, and I guess it traumatized her, so she's about to rip me into pieces."

Sitting up slowly, Lia proceeded to tiredly rub her eyes, before stretching and yawning.

"Don't worry, I'll protect you, you dumdum."

And in the exact second these words left Lia's mouth, the eldest came in crashing through the door, instantly pointing at Ryujin.

"YOU!"

"It's fine boo, I guess I'll have to accept my fate one way or another."

Standing up from the bed, Lia positioned herself in front of the outsider, making sure Yeji couldn't get to her in case she wanted to.

"Not on my watch. Yeji, please listen to me-"

"NO! MY POOR BEDSHEETS!"

"Please, one minute?"

What Ryujin didn't know up until now was that Lia was able to do some incredibly cute puppy dog eyes if she wanted something from someone.

And also, Lia had the ability to make other people question themselves harder than they normally would, what would come in handy later.

"Okay, one minute, but just because you're looking at me all adorable."

"Yeah, don't get used to it." Ryujin grumbled, making Lia smile and roll her eyes.

"So, first of all, what happened? Why do you want to kill my girlfriend?"

"As if you wouldn't know!"

"The only thing I know is that you want to stab Ryujin more than normally, but I don't know for what reason exactly."

Yeji sighed, even slightly believing Lia's cluelessness.

"I heard you two. Last night."

"And? We were binge watching Netflix, of course you heard us."

"What show?"

Not only was Yeji still very skeptically, she also wasn't really sure if she wanted to have an explicit answer to that question.

"American Horror Story."

"Season?"

"1984."

"Oh, and where did you stop watching?"

"After Brooke stabbed Montana to death. Ryujin was the saddest she had ever been after that, though Montana was her favorite."

"That is, in fact, true."
