Coming home from the hospital a couple of days later was a mad house.

As soon as we came through the door we were surrounded by everyone, and they all fussed and fought over who got to hold Eve first.

Lena was beyond pissed as soon as she saw the baby, and I had been afraid that she might dislike the fact that she looked more like Theo then me, but when I asked her what was wrong, her eyes teared up.

"I -. Webby and I -. We had been planning on a - a baby shower!" She wailed, and buried her face in her hands as she sobbed, her shoulders quivering as Webby slightly patted them, looking a bit down herself.

I blinked.

"It seems rather unorthadox to have a baby shower before the baby instead of after." Violet agreed as Louie held Eve in his arms.

He looked happy, but I can tell something was on his mind. He keeps glancing at me with worry and concern  when he thinks I'm not looking. I was still skeptical about us being alone together after what had happened three nights ago, and was nervous about when it does happen.

Because lets face it -. It's gonna happen. Especially since I had put Louie's name on Eve's birth certificate as the father.

I had asked him first if it was okay, and he was overjoyed. Zerha supported me on that, but Dewey.... He seemed to take Zerha's thoughts in account of his own, but I can tell that he too was skeptical about Louie being a father at such a young age.

But I knew that if I didn't ask Louie he'd question us, and I didn't want him too.

I loved Louie and I needed to show him that by asking him to be her adoptive father.

"Screw unorthadox." Huey stated, he stared at Eve like he was afraid she'd start crying at any minute and was at the ready in case that happened.  "Since when do we follow tradition in this house?" Huey asked, he tore his eyes away from Even and looked at me his eyes sparkling. "Did I tell you that I'm a good party planner?" He asked.

"No you are NOT!" Both Louie and Dewey said at once and a bit too loud.

Huey only laughed at that as Eve squirmed in Louie's arms and started to make a noise.

Everyone froze at the noise, unsure of what too do. Louie's eyes darted from me to Eve then back again, in panic.

I roll my eyes.

"Calm down." I say, and gently took Eve away from my boyfriend and gently rocked her in my arms.

I stare down at her, as she settled down and watched her tiny chest rise up and down.

I look up at the group and Zerha and I locked eyes. She had been super quiet since we arrive home, and I had a feeling she was thinking back to that night, when I tried to kill myself. I couldn't tell if she was angry, scared, or worried about me.

Maybe it was all three.

But I heard Louie, Dewey, and Zerha talking before we left the hospital.

I was apparently on suicide watch by all three of them.

"All right, everyone!" Scrooge says, coming up to me and placing a hand on Eve's head, then smiling at me. "You lot go plan the party. Give Athena some space. She needs rest."

Everyone muttered a complaint but Scrooge merely banged his cane on the tile stone floor making everyone jump and scatter except for Louie, and me.

"Now then." Scrooge said, when it was just us. He dug in his coat pocket and brought out a key and held it out to me. I hesitated and looked over at Louie who beamed at me and nodded in encouragement. I looked back at Scrooge then the key and slowly took it from him.
