"How could you Louie!" I whispered, trying hard not to raise my voice because baby Eve was asleep in my arms.

I needed some support because I was afraid if I didn't have any supported weight, I think I might have fainted.

I was BRIBED not to kill myself -. If only Matt had gone back to be with Emma.

How DARE he show up?

I don't care if Eve summoned him with their imprint.

Matt was the cause of all this!

All the internal and external pain that I have been going through since the day he came back to take Zerha to be with F.O.W.L.

All because of mine and Zerha's relationship, in which I fear is slowly being torn apart, making my worst fear that the prophecy wasn't too far along.

I had a sensed something was off with Louie lately.

Like he hadn't been himself ever since he came back from wherever it was he went to the night before Eve took her first steps.

It was like he was either hypnotized, or being controlled.

But who'd would have wanted to do that do him?

I know the McDuck's have a lot of enemies.

Maybe one of them...?

"I -. I have no excuse Athena." Louie began, and I feel the tears at the corner of my eyes.

Louie looked everywhere except my eyes.

He looked at Eve asleep in my arms and muttering to herself.

He looked towards the roaring fireplace that was almost dead in front of us. He slowly got up and put another log in the fire, grabbed a poker, and started to shift the log to where there was more flame.

"The Game Master." Louie muttered, suddenly, as if he was just now remembering.

I blinked.

Game Master?

Goldie had said something about a Game Master too.

Who the FUCK was this guy?

"Who is the Game Master. Louie?" I demanded to know.

Louie didn't reply for a long time, he just stood staring at the flames, still keeping his grip on the poker.

My muscles tensed up, remembering the time my step-mother had burned me repeatedly over and over again with it, back when I would mess up on a S.H.U.S.H mission.

I clinched Eve to my chest, and glanced towards the front door. Ready to make a break for it if things got bad.

Did I believe Louie would intentionally hurt me?

No.

If someone or something was controlling him at the time.

I want to believe that for Louie.

I NEED to believe in that for Louie.

Because if that was true then what happened wasn't his fault!

Someone or something was manipulating this prophecy. Making it come more early then intended, and was using both Dewey and Louie to do so.

Just so Zerha and I will fight.

But we won't.

I hope.

"I -. I don't really know." Louie answered, finally, snapping me out of my thoughts. "He cornered me when I -. When I was going to murder Doofus for what he did to you.
