ZEHRA POV

I stare in at our hotel room in awe. We're all staying together in a suite, but DAMN! IT'S HUGE!!

"Wow!" I exclaim and flop onto the bed I now call the me and Dewey will share. I look up to Louie. "Thanks, Lou!"

He smirks. "Only the best for my family!"

I pat the spot next to me and gesture for Athena to take it. She's been distant the whole time.

"Hey..." I whisper.

She fake smiles... her blue eyes aren't glistening.

"You okay?" I ask placing a hand on my sisters back. The guys exit to give us privacy, and bring the rest of our stuff up and finish signing in and such.

She nods. "Yeah! Why?"

I shrug, my eyes never leaving hers. "You just seem worried. I promise, Liam will take good care of Eve. Plus, Lena, Webby- and everyone there will kill him if anything happens to her, even a scratch."

She laughs. "I know... Sorry, I'll try not to ruin the vacation."

I roll my eyes. "You can't do that."

I hear Athena thinking in her head, 'You don't know that...'

But I decide to ignore it.

--LATER--

I grip onto Dewey's hand as I run with him to the beach, Louie and Athena WALKING behind us.

"I'm gonna beat you!" I exclaim as my feet touch the sand first.

The sun glistens on the ocean and sand, hurting my eyes at the brightness.

Dewey grips my hand and closes his eyes, letting the sun soak into him and breathing in the beach.

Before I can react, Dewey lets go of my hand and runs faster than I've ever seen before, to the water. He places his hands beside his mouth and yells, "I BEAT YOUUU!!!"

And starts dancing in the water making me laugh.

ATHENA POV

I watch as Zehra and Dewey play in the ocean,  laughing with each other as they splash around run around each other. I sat on a beach towel, hugging my knees to my chest as Louie lays next to me, playing with the back strap of my bikini.

I shuddered as his fingers brushed against my skin as he did, and wondered what had been going through his mind that day he decided to get this for me.

"Why didn't you want to get in?" Louie asked, suddenly, as Zehra shrieked with laughter as Dewey made a mad dash to grab her.

"I -." I began, as images of drowning flashes through my mind "can't swim." I admitted.

"Really?" Louie said, scratching the back of his head and smiling sheepishly at me. "If I'd known that -. I'd have book a vacation away from the water." He said.

I shake my head.

"It's not that I don't love the beach. I adore it. I -. I just can't swim." I tell him.

"How is it that we've known each other for awhile now, raising a child together, and STILL don't know a thing about each other?" Louie wonders out loud.

He quit playing with the strap and sat up looking at me in disbelief.

"That's not true... I know you like the color green." I say, waving to my bathing suit and his boxer shorts, then snickered. "Emeralds?" I asked, eyeing the studs that were at the hem of his boxers.
