Chapter 32- Zehra

DEWEY POV

We've been walking for around two hours, still no sign of Athena. And I'm still a bit grumpy.

Look, I'm not trying to be! It's just my body! My heart and mind isn't mad, but my body is and it's making me cross my arms and narrow my eyes.

Louie laughs behind me. "What's up with you?" 

I stop in my tracks and give him a look. "We were busy." I answer shortly and continue to look around while Louie runs up next to me.

"Dew." Louie places a temporary hand on my shoulder, making us both stop. "It's not a big deal! We gotta find my girlfriend, then you can please yours."

I whine and pull at my hair. "Yeah but I don't get to do it everyday!"

Louie smirks, and I hate what's he's saying already."Well, I'd hope not. Wouldn't want you to get sick, now would we?" 

I roll my eyes. "Well it's fun, so you can't really stop me."

I notice Louie doesn't laugh... WHY?! It was funny... right? His eyes are glued to the floor as if he's in deep thought. Worry is written all over him. Worry, concern, and fear. 

I place my arm around my baby brother and pull him along with me as we walk. "Hey..." He looks at me and I just now notice tears in his eyes, making my heart strings tug. I love my baby bro. I don't want to see him, or anyone I care about, unhappy.  "We'll find her. I promise."

He nods and wipes his eyes. 

"Now get your sorry ass moving, cuz we're burning daylight here." I spank the back of his head.

ZEHRA POV

"He was so creepy..." I say making a face at her, and she giggles. "Who would spy on their own sister?! Matt would!" I tickle her stomach making her go in a giggle parade.

How does she know who Matt is?! And how does she know that I need to contact him.

Or I'm crazy, and she's just a baby.

"Ya know... Matt always wanted to keep me safe. I'm sure he wants to do the same for you..." I say, looking at Eve sideways.

"Matt!" She yells again. "MATT MATT MATT!!" She yells, and looks behind me giggling. 

I shake my head and grab her tiny hands with my fingers. "Matt's not here, Little Eve..."

I give her butterfly kisses on her stomach, but when I sit back up, I feel heat behind me, and I freeze.

Slowly, I turn my head around and see hazel eyes staring at me with a hug confused smile.

"MATT!" I yell and pull him into a hug. He hugs back, but it's different... He's stronger. Older. He's matured in two years...

He pulls away and sits on the floor next to me, but his eyes suddenly move to Eve. He grins from ear to ear and picks her up, making her giggle.

I smile at the sight.

Matt sits with his knees up, and he sets Eve on them, her back on his leg as she faces him.

"So.." I start, placing a hand on my head. "How do you two know each other?"

Matt hugs Eve to his chest and looks at me when he speaks. "We found each other in the dream realm the night she was born, and ever since then we've been seeing each other." He looks back Eve and grabs her hands, and moving them , making it look like she's dancing. "Isn't that right, Eve?"

Her eyes are filled with adoration, same as Matt's. 

"Wait- How did you get here?!" I say, realizing what happened.
