We arrive at the Mall and I get in the underground parking. I find a spot then park in reverse.
"When did you learn how to drive?" She asks.
"I started when I was thirteen." I say.
"And your parents allowed it?" She asks.
"Well, my mom didn't, but my dad thought it was important. And I wanted to learn too, so he took the initiative to teach me." I say.
"Damn, you lucky." She says then I nod my head and we get out of the car. I lock it and walk up next to her.
"Damn you so tall." She says looking at me.
"I'm tall or you short?" I ask.
"Maybe it's both." She says then I shrug my shoulders.
"Maybe it's none." I say then she looks at me.
"You dumb." She says then I laugh and put my hand on my chest.
"You know I'm most probably smarter than you." I say then she laughs.
"Even so, you smart cause of us teachers." She says.
"Not really. There are teachers who can't teach, but I get good marks regardless." I say.
"You not smarter than me though." She says.
"Okay." I say with a chuckle and shrug my shoulders.
"I'm not gonna argue with you about this." She says then I nod agreeing with her.
"Most definitely. School and a date don't mix." I say.
"Where are your parents?" I ask.
"Most probably at home why?" She asks.
"Cause I mean, you independent. You have your own house, car, so I was wondering if you have a relationship with them?" I ask.
"Very much so. We talk everyday. And I go see them on Sundays, cause you know family Sunday lunch. Then sometimes when I want I go sleep there." She says.
"Oh, that's nice." I say.
"Which rent are you closer to?" I ask.
"Most probably my mom, but at the same time there are things I tell one parent I wouldn't tell the other." She says.
"Always the case." I say then she laughs.
"And you?" She asks.
"To be honest. Both, I tell them the same things cause at the end of the day even if I tell my mother some, she will tell my dad. They have this rule that they don't keep secrets from one another. Cute, but annoying in my case." I say then she laughs.
"You've tried it before?" She asks.
"Yeah, but I just told my dad cause he was the only one there and my mother wasn't around." I say.
"So relationship wise, where do you stand." She asks.
"Very very far. Like say, there's a relationship in Antarctica, I'm in Asia." I say then she laughs.
"That bad?" She asks.
"Bruh, I wish I would've listened to my parents when they said only date when you are in varsity." I say shaking my head.
"So, was she the first person you were with or, you've been heartbroken before?" She asks.
"First, and I wasn't heartbroken. You know that thing whereas you are already expecting the worst and you are prepared for it, that was me, well us." I say.
