I clean up my stuff then go downstairs. I get a message telling me my Uber has arrived. I go to my rents in the sitting room.

I arrive at Motaung's crib then knock on the door. She comes and opens the door.

"Aviwe I want or well need to tell you something." She says sitting up then I arch my eyebrows and sit up.
"The thing that has been on my mind, when you asked." She says then I nod my head.
"I wanted to ask or find out if since you are gonna be with Thandi now, what does that mean for us?" She asks.
"Mean for us njan?" I ask.
"Like will we still talk and still be friends or are you gonna keep your distance?" She asks.
"Oh. Yeah uhm, I'd still want to be friends with you. I mean just because we are restricted from doing other things doesn't mean we still can't talk and chill." I say.
"And what if uThandi wants you to keep your distance?" She asks.
"But that's the thing. She can't dictate who I keep and cut out of my life. You my friend not hers, so she doesn't even know you. And lastly she'll just have to trust me being around you cause you not going anywhere. If she can't do that then atleast I'll know hers and my relationship ended and I did all I possibly could to keep it." I say then she smiles.

"So that's what's been on my mind, but I didn't wanna bring it up." She says.
"Nah. I'm glad you did. Cause we all need that reassurance sometimes. Cause next thing you the only one putting in effort into the relationship." I say.
"To be honest. So when are you meeting with her?" She asks.
"Later today. Around five-ish." I say then she nods her head.
"So we still have two hours." She says then I bite my lip and smile.
