I get home tired as fuck then put the keys where they stay.
"How's your friend?" My mother asks when she sees me.
"She's gonna be fine." I say.
"Uphi uOkuhle?" I ask. Oh did I forget to mention that my mother gave birth just a few months back. September to be precise. So we have a little one in this house that can crawl now so he is everywhere. And fuck is he naughty. Oh yah, and it's a boy, so yah.
(Where's Okuhle?)"He is sleeping." She says then as I'm about to go see him she pulls my hand.
"When he wakes up." She says.
"Ahhh, but he always wakes up when we sleeping." I say then she smiles.
"Then I guess you will watch him tonight till he sleeps.
I laugh hysterically. "Good joke." I say still laughing then she laughs as she shakes her her head.
"Aiii, good one." I say as my laugh dies down.
"I wasn't joking, but if you want to bond with him, it will be over that time cause most of the time during the day he is asleep." She says.
"Who's watching him tonight?" I ask.
"Your dad." She says. Ahhh haike.
"I'll watch him when it's your turn so you can rest." I say.
"Why not watch him when it's your dad." She asks.
"Cause, you were the one who was pregnant for nine months. So you must get your nine months back." I say then she smiles.
"Thank you." She says then I nod my head. I stay in the kitchen as she finishes washing the dishes as I help here whilst we speak.
"And then uThandi?" I ask.
"She's watching TV with your dad." She says. Oh okay.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Thandile and I are sitting in the TV room whilst my rents are upstairs doing whatever. "Babe, aren't you hungry." She asks.
Shit I even lost my appetite after today. "Yeah." I say.
"Let me go warm your food khe." She says then give her a peck on the cheek. When she leaves I pick up my phone and call Khanya.
Aviwe?
How are things? Did you manage to eat?
I even rested actually so yah.
Great. So if I were to ask, if you saw those guys that mugged you, would you want revenge or...?
I'd just want my stuff back. I don't care what happens to them.
Cause I want to make them to pay, but I wanna know how you feel.
What are you gonna do?
What you want me to do.
Aviwe, I don't know man.
How about when I get them, you can pull through, then you'll decide then.
