THANDI POV

We are chilling as a group at Kamva's crib. So myself, Akhona, Olwethu, Lisa and Asa... Then Kamva, Aya, Zuko and Siya.

I didn't wanna come but I was dragged here and my mother forced me to go so I didn't have much of a choice but to just pull through.

I still haven't heard from Aviwe and it's been an entire month. I don't know, but I feel she has honestly moved on. I don't know.

"Guys, where has Aviwe been though?" Aya asks. Kinda glad she asked cause she read my mind, and me asking doesn't sound right in my head.

"She's at her sisters house. You know how Aviwe doesn't believe in telling people her problems, so paying a therapist or in her words someone you don't know and who doesn't know you to tell you what to do with your life is bullshit?" Kamva says then they laugh.

"Yeah, she's always been stubborn." Olwethu says.

"Don't blame her, I feel the same way." Kamva shrugs her shoulders.

"Baby. Are you serious?" Olwethu asks hitting her.

"Yes. Its stupid. I have so many family members, and friends who's family is my family too. Its unnecessary. Now I have to be talking to people who I don't know and visa versa. Nah I'm good with that shit. I'd rather be depressed." She says then we laugh.

"But talking to a professional helps."

"God is a professional. I will pray for healing, and also my pastors and my parents and friends and family will pray for my healing." She says then I shake my head. I smile as I think of Aviwe. She sounds just like her.

"Okay, but why is Aviwe at her sisters?" Lisa asks.

"Her sister is a therapist." Kamva says then everyone besides myself and Aya look at her surprised.

"Buli, Buli. Like the one that is full of jokes and can't be serious for shit?" Siya asks.

"Yess. The same Buli. She's actually good at what she does. Leave the fact that she can never be serious with us." Aya says then I shake my head.

"Thandile what is Aviwe saved as on your phone?" Olwethu asks. She is playing games on my phone cause I'm the only one here who knows how to save space on my phone to have enough for games.

"Why?" I ask looking at her.

"You have a notification from "My Life"." She says then I grab my phone so quick I surprised myself.

"Yoh." She says then claps her hands and they laugh.

I open the chat. "What did she say?" Kamva asks.

"It's songs." I say.

"Play it then. You do know Aviwe's love language is sending or making her partner listen to nice Love songs nhe?" Kamva asks then I bite my lip and shake my head.

"Aviwe hasn't sent you music?" She asks then I shake my head.

"She hasn't made you listen to a song?" She asks.

"Well I was at her crib so it was a given that Imma listen to her playlist." I shrug my shoulders.

"Has Aviwe ever dedicated a song to you, whether it was over the phone or in person?" She asks sounding happy.

"Nooo Kamva." I say then she looks over at Aya then they go dab each other up.

"Finally." Olwethu says then I look at them confused.

"What?" I ask then they look at me.

"She's back. How many songs?" She asks.

"Three audios." She says then I stand up.

"I need to connect this so we can all hear. Let's go." She says pulling me up. She rushes me to their studio then connects my phone to the sound system then we go out and join the rest.

"Play them in that order." She says then I shrug my shoulders cause at this point I feel they know Aviwe more than me.

I press play. "Everyone shut up. Thandile listen to the lyrics and imagine Aviwe singing that to you." She says then I nod my head.

KAMVA'S POV

When she played the first song, Aya and I started smiling. I really can't believe she's back, so soon. Thought it would've been longer, but finally I don't have to deal with a bitter Aviwe and the girls don't have to deal with a depressed Thandile.

The song played and it was Mad in Love by Musa. I was looking at Thandile's reaction the whole time this song played, cause wow, Aviwe may have just gone all out with this one.

I saw Thandile smiling then I nodded my head. I'm not gonna even lie, Aviwe, takes the cup. Literally.

"Yoh. I wish someone would do that for me." Asa says looking at Zuko after the song finished.

"Wait, before you compliment, let's here all of them. Thandile." I say nodding at her.

She plays the second song and shit, it's John fucken Stoddart with Angel.

I mean shit, if my hun sent me these kinda songs, I'd be down on one knee no questions asked. Y'all gotta go listen to these. I'm a proud friend.

I seen Thandi on the side of my eye, about to cry. Her eyes were glossy, and you could tell she was in her own world, so I was not gonna disturb her.

The song finished and before anyone could say anything I told them to stay quiet. Thandile played the last song and at this point, if Thandile is not forgiving Aviwe then I really don't know what Aviwe will do cause she went all out with these.

For me it's the fact that she nailed it down to three songs, when she has an entire playlist over hundred of these songs. The song that's playing is Forever by 047.

I seen the other girls and Akhona and my hun were crying. I looked at Olwethu for a minute. What the fuck.

The song finished and Olwethu was all kinds of emotions right now. Eh this girl. "Uhm, random question. Thandile do you still want Aviwe?" Akhona asks then the look Aya gave her killed the hell outta me.

"What. What the fuck?" Aya asks being all up in her face.

"I mea- it's just a question." Akhona shrugs her shoulders then Aya looks at her then stands up and sits somewhere else.

"Ahhh. It was just a question. I don't want Aviwe if that's what you think." Akhona says then relaxes on her seat.

"But again, I'm not gonna ncenga you." She says then I see Aviwe by the entrance of the pajama room door.

"Wassup guys." She says then everyone turns to her direction. Thandile turns around and just looks at her. They look at each other for a minute then Thandile looks away and at her phone.

What the fuck was that?
