I leave Miss Motaung as she goes to the office and I decide to go to Thandi. Something tells me this will go sideways, but I'll try make things straight.
I find her at her usual spot with her friends in the morning.
She has her back faced to me so she can't see me, but some of her friends see me. "Hi girls." I say to her friends.
They greet back. Thandi doesn't turn around. She knows it's me.
"Thandile." I call her.
"Mmhh?" She says.
"Can we talk?" I ask.
"Talk." She says.
"Okay, can I take you out on Saturday. Wanna tell you something." I say.
"Oh, sorry I got plans." She says.
"Okay can you atleast look at me?" I ask.
She doesn't answer and carries on with whatever she's doing. I let out a sigh then I turn around to leave.
As I'm about to leave her friend says, "just send her the details, fetch her at her crib and see if she won't be ready and dressed." I turn around and look at her.
"And also send me the detail nhe." She says then I nod my head.
"Thanks joh." I say then she smiles.
I walk away going to my friends. I don't know why she being so gotdamn difficult, and even if I was in her shoes I wouldn't be acting the way she is, so I'm failing to understand her actions, but it is what it is.
I sit down on the table when I get to my friends.
"What happened?" Aya asks.
"With what?" I ask.
"Well with who... But Thandi." She says.
"Hayi, I wanna take her out on Saturday so we can speak but she's being difficult." I say.
"You want her don't you?" She asks smirking.
"A part of me does, but when I try speak to her she wants to be a bitch. Now you tell me how can I want someone like that... Cause say we argue about something. She'll avoid me all the damn time." I say shaking my head. I've never been this defeated by a hun.
"You know she really isn't like that right. She's most probably embarrassed about what happened." Kamva says.
"Okay, but when I try reach out to her, she can't be acting like that." I say.
"Just give her time..." She says.
"Okay, but did she agree?" Zuko asks.
"She didn't, but Akhona did for her." I say then Aya smiles.
"She's a sweetheart nhe." She says then we laugh.
"Are y'all dating?" I ask then she shakes her head.
"Haibo. Why not?" I ask.
"I'm just waiting for the right moment." She says.
"What are you gonna do about Miss Motaung?" Siya asks.
"What you want her?" I ask.
"Hayi mina I have Lisa, so I'm good, but like won't it hurt her?" She asks.
"I told her everything and she told me to go for it." I say then they look at each other.
"How?" Zuko asks.
"Nicely." I say then she looks at me annoyed then I laugh.
"I'm playing with you. Nah, kaloku Motaung and I have a no strings policy... So basically how ours works is the day we actually find someone we want to be with, we put everything on hold and go be with that person." I say.
