THANDI POV
Aviwe left like an hour ago and I been trying to call her but it just rings then goes to voicemail. So obviously it's not off, either she's ignoring me or she's sleeping.
And on WhatsApp she's been off since around the time she was here. I really didn't mean what I said. I didn't even think she was gonna take it to heart.
When I said what I said, the things she told me wasn't even on my mind. I was saying that just cause it's the first thing that came to me.
She asked me to stop thinking about that shit and I brushed it off my mind the last day I saw her. Now I feel like I'm walking on eggshells so I don't say anything that might sound like I'm talking about her past.
Cause really. Before she told me that we would joke about things like this and we'd laugh about it, but now I have to thread carefully about what I'm saying to her.
The person I thought I could talk freely to and say anything and everything is now the person I have to be careful of what to say.
I didn't regret asking her about her past, but I might just start to now. And everytime we have an issue she never wants to talk, she just wants to "leave it" and I'm afraid for the day something big happens and the arguments will turn into things of the past we never solved.
Its hella difficult being with someone who has been broken cause this shit is something I can't deal with. I can't even say Imma leave her cause I'm too deeply in love with her to just up and leave, but knowing Aviwe, she doesn't beg either, so when she feels she can't do this anymore she'll just up and leave.
I get a notification on my phone. I quickly grab it cause I think it's Aviwe but it's a DM notification. I ignore it the first time but it kept coming in so I opened my insta but it wasn't from my account.
I opened Aviwe's account and she was chatting to Phindile. So she can talk to her but can't pick up the phone and tell me she's fine, or even made it home safely.
I open the chat.
Aviwe - Sorry, I been gone. What you up to?
Phindile - It's okay. I'm getting dressed and going to the gym.
Aviwe - I have alot on my mind. Mind if I join?
Phindile - Pull through. Atleast I don't have to Uber now.
Aviwe - Wow. Taking advantage of me. Be lucky I love you...
Phindile - Ncawww. I know I'm hella lucky.
Aviwe - Haha. Let me change ke...
Phindile - Tell me what you gonna wear cause I'm not tryna match with you.
Aviwe had gone off and I opened that message. Damnit. Now she'll know I'm on her account. Don't care. Even if she knows, she could've hit me up.
Aviwe - Match with who? I wear what I find phela mina.
Phindile - So noma ufumana amacolour that don't make sense you put that on?
(So even if you get colours that don't make sense, you put that on?)
Aviwe - Nahhh, you know I can put things together.
Phindile - Lemme see!!👀
Aviwe leaves the chat again then comes back.
Phindile - So vele you open my chat then leave.
Aviwe - Nah man. I didn't even see it. Thought you hadn't responded yet.
