It's break and I'm with Thandi. Not gonna lie, today has been an amazing day.
As much as Motaung acted like a bitch this morning and annoyed me, if it wasn't for her I wouldn't be with Thandi.
Finally got my favourite person back in my life and this time, she isn't going anywhere.
"What are you thinking about?" She asks.
I come back to reality and look at her. "Us." I say then she smiles.
"Why you smiling? I could be thinking the worst." I say laughing.
"Cause I know you not." She says.
"How you know that?" I ask.
"Because, you have this thing you do. First of all, you make eye contact, then you don't feel it, but then you smirk. So when you think the worst. You don't smirk." She says then I look at her and smile.
"So wait. When I'm thinking the best I smirk?" I ask.
"Yes. When you smirk, you are sure. When you don't... And if you remember correctly the day you came to ask me to go out with you on Saturday, you came unsure cause you didn't know what the outcome would be so you never smirked not once. Cause you were thinking the worst." She says then I think back to that day. Damn.
"But if I smirk how don't I feel it?" I ask.
"Cause it's an instinct. It just happens and you don't plan on it." She says then I smile and look at her.
Our friends come then we look at them. They sit down then I just shake my head.
"Hello Aviweee." Akhona says then I look at her and laugh.
"Hello Akhona." I greet back.
"Soooo, how are you guys?" She asks then I scrunch my eyebrows.
"Talk to your friend." I say to Thandi then Akhona laughs.
"Hawu, what did I do?" She asks.
"Why you talking like thaaat?" I ask imitating her.
She laughs along with everybody else. "I don't sound like that." She says then I laugh.
"Aaand. I'm just happy you two are talking again." She says.
"Yeah, that makes the two of us." I say.
"Aviwe?" Someone calls me. I look to my side and see some kid. I look at him questionably.
"Please can I speak to you?" He asks then I arch my eyebrow.
"Okay?" I say.
"In private." He says then I look at everybody and back to the kid. Who is this child?
I stand up then we walk to the side.
"Miss Motaung told me to come tell you that she wants to see you in her office right now." He says. What the fuck.
"Cool. I'm coming." I say. It's not like I can say no to the child. I mean that would be weird as to why I disrespect a teacher like that.
"I'll be back nhe." I say to Thandi.
"Ayt." My friends say then I look at them and laugh.
"I was talking to Thandi, but okay." I say then they laugh.
I make my way to Motaung's office. When I arrive I knock then I'm told to come in.
"You wanted to see me?" I ask then she tells me to sit. Did I do something. Like why am I here.
"I want us to talk Aviwe." She says.
"If it doesn't have anything to do with school. I'm good." I say.
"Please?" She asks.
"Nah. I'm good." I say.
"Aviwe. I'm sorry for how I acted this morning." She says. I nod my head then stand up.
She comes and stands in front of me. "Please don't go." She says then I look at her.
"What do you want?" I ask.
"You." She says.
"Nah, I just fixed my relationship with Thandi. And I'm not willing to lose it again." I say.
"We in my office. No one will know." She says.
"No." I say.
"So just like that we done. You don't care anymore?" She asks.
"Just cause I don't wanna have sex with you doesn't mean I don't care. Motaung if we get caught, first of all that could end up fucking with the both of us. Secondly. Tomorrow, well we all know what's happening tomorrow. So don't do that caring game with me." I say.
"Exactly. You said tomorrow. You will not be cheating on her." She says.
"You literally just wasted my break." I say. I walk around her then go to the door.
Without turning around I say, "We are done with this part of our relationship."
I try opening the door but of course. It's locked. But when the hell did she lock it.
I turn around and look at her. I clench my jaw then walk towards her.
"Really?" I ask.
"Are you sure?" She asks. I close my eyes for a second then look at her from head to toe. She goes and lays down on the couch then looks at me.
At this point. I'm sure we all know how she looks right now, and deadass. She knows my weakness.
I take off my sweatshirt and walk to her.
