I'm on my way to Maths class, and I'm so annoyed with myself at this point.
I arrive at class and sit outside as the teacher hasn't arrived yet.
Someone sits next to me. And of course it's Lerato.
"Aviweee." She says, but hers wasn't cute like Akhonas. Hers was sinister. But of course. I wouldn't expect any less from her.
"Not now." I say looking forward.
"I th-" I cut her off and put my hand in front of her face.
"Not now." I say then she looks at me dumbfounded.
"That's me telling you to leave." I say then she rolls her eyes and stands up.
I close my eyes then let out a deep breath. "Where did you go?" I look up and see Thandi in front of me.
"Physics wanted to see me." I say blankly.
"Physics?" She asks.
"Ms Physics maarn. What's her name?" I ask.
"Ms Vorster?" She says.
"Yah that one." I say.
"For what?" She asks.
"Work I missed when I didn't come to school that other day." I say then she nods her head.
"Are you okay?" She asks looking at me. I nod my head but don't say anything.
"You don't look fine." She says. I damn right don't feel right.
I feel Motaung has this hold on me. And not gonna lie, I'm afraid that when it's actually time to be rejecting her. I'll be the damn one seducing her. I bite my lip as I shake my head.
"Aviwe?" Thandi calls me.
I quickly look at her. "Mmhh?" I ask.
"Ushap?" She asks.
(You good)
"Yah, keshap. Uskawara nkana nhe." I say.
(Yah, I'm good. Don't worry about me.)
"We just fixed our relationship. I hope you not lying to me or keeping things from me." She says.
Yah, guess this is just the one thing she can't ever know. Well atleast not now.
"Jonga we'll talk when we go to LO. My teacher is in class." She says.
I smile and wink at her. She leaves then I shake my head. Fuck me.

I get to LO then get in the class. Motaung is sitting by her desk. She looks at me but I go straight to my desk. Thandi comes in seconds later then comes and sits next to me.
When everyone is in class we all stand up and Motaung greets the class. They all greet back then we sit down.
"Okay guys, as I was not here yesterday, you gonna receive your books today." She says.
She goes to her shelf and grabs boxes with books.
"Aviwe, Aya. Please hand out." She says. I look up at her and take out a breath. I shake my head then stand up.
"You good joh?" Aya asks. I look at her then shake my head.
"We'll talk joh." I say then grab half of the books and she does the same. She goes to one half of the class and I do the other half.
"Asa and Olwethu. Follow behind them." Motaung says handing them the cover pages.
When we finish we sit down. "Cut and paste now." She says.
