We moisturised then went to my closet. She put on what she was wearing to begin with, then I put my Jordan sweats and a black t-shirt. A black champion beanie, socks and CK slides. I brushed my hair then put on deodorant.

I go back to my room and Thandi was watching TV and sitting by my study desk chair. "Let's go." I say giving her my hand then we go downstairs. My parents were at the dining room sitting down.
"Molo mama, Tata." Thandi greeted my rents. They greeted back.
"So, how was it staying home alone with Aviwe?" My dad asks.
"It was good." She says smiling then they nod their heads.
"Any parties?" My mother asks then she looks at me and I shrug my shoulders.
"No. But she did invite her friends over." She says.
"Ohhh, okay. How many friends?" She asks.
"My usual friends. That you know. And love." I say.
"Did they spend the night?" She asks.
"Yeah, came Saturday left Yesterday night." I say.
"Okay ke. Niyaphi?" My dad asks. (Okay then. Where are you going?)
"I'm going back home. I haven't been with my parents in a while." Thandi answers.
"Oh, okay. Aviwe you leaving with her?" He asks.
"No, I'm gonna come back. I'm just dropping her off." I say.
"Okay." They say at the same time. The questions today. Damn.
"Actually. I'm supposed to go fetch Okuhle (little brother's name) and my Aunt Nwa said I must come with you so you can catch up." I say to my mom then she stands up.
"Let me go change. I'll meet you in the car." She says then goes upstairs.
"You'll find us on the driveway." I say.
"Tata wena what will you do?" I ask.
"I have companies. I'm gonna be very busy." He says.
"Hayi okay. I'll see you later." I say then Thandi and I leave and go to the garage. I get in my car. I start it then play Mad by Musa then I open the garage and get out.
I wait for my mother by the drive way then look at Thandile.
Her mind is so far away right now. "Baby." I call her then she looks at me.
"What's going on. You haven't been yourself since yesterday?" I ask.
"I'm thinking about the time I met you." She says then I look at her waiting for her to carry on.
