It's finally after school, and I'm waiting for Thandi. For the first time in my life and hopefully the last, I can confidently say I hate someone. Literally just ruined everything that was going well for me. But she's not gonna move on from this unpunished.
Motaung comes to me then I look at her. "I'm really not in the mood." I say then look ahead of me.
"I'm not here to fight." She says then I look at her and nod my head.
"I promise to fix this nhe. I protect people I care about. Even she knows that, she's just taking chances." I say.
"And I'm here to say, I know I overreacted, so now that I'm calm and thought about this, if you need me for something, I'm here." She says then I look at her and smile.
"Finally." I say then she laughs.
"Let me let you think nhe. We'll talk on the phone." She says then I nod my head. I give her a side hug then she leaves.
And as soon as Motaung leaves Thandi comes. "What was that about?" She asks.
"Oh, nothing actually. Can we leave this place?" I ask then she pulls me and makes me look at her.
"You are lying." She says.
"Can I first deal with the situation then I'll tell you everything." I say.
"Why can't you let me help you?" She asks.
"Because Thandi. This one could ruin people's lives. I need to do this alone. But I'm not lying to you." I say.
"Whatever." She says then walks away.
I hold her hand then she takes it away. "Thandi come on joh. You are already angry and it hasn't even been 48 hours." I say.
"When you are ready to be honest with me, you'll tell me nhe." She says then walks away.
So I deadass waited for her just for her to leave me. This is shit. Then I walk home.

I get home and change into my shorts, golf shirt and my Nike socks and tennis shoes. I put on my smart watch grab my racket then go downstairs. Might just need to take out my frustrations on a few tennis balls today.

I get back home then take a long hot shower. I go under the showerhead and just lean against the wall. 'Come Aviwe, think of something, think of fuckin something' I thought as I hit the palm of my hand on my forehead.
After getting clean I get out of the shower, moisturise then get dressed in my vest and boxer shorts. I go downstairs and my rents are in the kitchen. I greet then go to the music room.
I shuffle play my songs and Boo Thang by Verse Simmonds plays. I lay down on the couch and just listen to the music whilst I think of something.

Lerato POV (The next day)
"I finally got her right where I want her." I say then my friend Linda looks at me.
"How do you know this is gonna work. I mean this is Aviwe we are talking about." She says then I look at her questionably.
"So what if it's Aviwe?" I ask.
"She won't let this one slide." She says then I roll my eyes.
"I know when Aviwe has given up. Just give her a few days till she realises it." I say then she shakes her head.
"Lerato this right here, is gonna blow up in your face." She says.
"If this one doesn't work. I have another plan. She will get back together with me." I say.
"Ion think Aviwe is into psycho ex-girlfriends." She says, but says the last thing in a whisper.
"Excuse me? I'm not psycho. Aviwe dated me when I was still young. She is basically apart of my life now." I defend.
"And you so quick to forget that she also lost her childhood to you, only for you to cheat on her over and over again. Even now if she takes you back you'll just cheat again. Stop being a bitch. Doesn't it get tiring?" She asks then I get offended.
"Is that what you really think of me?" I ask.
"I mean, you keep proving it over and over again. You just don't wanna change. Now you wanna ruin a teachers entire life, keep in mind she's still young as fuck... Now you just wanna ruin her life because of a stupid obsession with Aviwe. Stop." She says.
"It's not obsession. It's love." I say then she lets out a chuckle.
"Again. I'm saying it, it will blow up in your face." She says then I roll my eyes.
"It wouldn't hurt to support your friend you know." I say.
"Not for crazy stunts. I'm not gonna be apart of this stupidity." She says.
"So what are you saying?" I ask.
"Leave me out of it. And for as long as you doing this shit, I'm not gonna be your friend." She says.
"Just because you want Aviwe. You've always wanted her. Even when I was with her, then you call yourself a friend." I say then chuckle.
"And yet, I never tried to make any moves on her cause I thought you were a good person and you really loved her. If you could appreciate a good thing, you would've known that you were Aviwe's centre." She says then before I can come back with a come back she adds, "she did anything for you, and just mentioning something without going too far, the outfit you wearing right now, was bought by her.... Just saying." She says then turns around and walks away.
"I don't need you anyway." I say then roll my eyes. And just then Aviwe walks in through the gate. I look at her from top to bottom and oh Lord.
She is wearing a white Levi's shirt, blue jeans with a white Nike bucket hat and red and green Jordans. She is just doing too much right now, such a simple fit looks way too good on her.

She goes and greets her friends then walks my direction. Yesss. This is it. As she gets closer I start preparing myself, but she just walks past me. Before I can blow up her scent just got to me. Ohhh. She's just so perfect.
As she disappears I start coming back to reality. What the fuck. Why did she just walk past me like that. Doesn't she know what's at stake. Maybe she still just stalling. She knows she doesn't have many options.
