It's finally after-school and we are on our way to fetch our bags from the classroom.
Am I getting a hug today?" I ask then she looks at me.
"Come by to my house tonight then you can have whatever you want." She says then I smirk at her.
"Hectic." I say then she laughs.
"What's so hectic?" She asks then I shake my head.
"Hayi, neks." I say then she smiles.
"Imma leave early vandag. I have gym." I say then she nods her head.
"Yah, nam I have things to do in my classroom so..." She says then I nod my head.
"But I'm still seeing you later today." I say then she smiles.
"For what?" She asks acting confused.
"If you don't know, then I might as well show you." I say then she looks at me.
"Show me then." She says then I stop walking for a second.
"Now?" I ask.
"Well that's up to you." She says then I open my mouth in amazement.
"But you didn't wanna give me a hug?" I ask then she laughs.
"I didn't say no though. Just told you to get in the classroom." She says then I lick my lips.
"Thing is with me, if you give me permission I won't hesitate. I don't give about where the setting is." I say.
"I know." She says then I look at her sideways.
"You saying all this cause you know I won't do it." I say then she laughs.
"You see, that's what I like about you. You very smart." She says then I laugh.
"Yah, and you like starting games that you won't finish, but ayt." I say then she laughs. We get to her classroom. She unlocks the door then learners start getting in and getting their things.
"See you tonight." I say then go to my desk and she goes to hers.
As I get to the door Thandile is also there. I let her get out first then I follow. I walk next to her then she looks at me.
"What?" She asks.
"You need help with those?" I ask.
"No." She says.
"Come on, don't be like that." I say then she rolls her eyes.
I grab her books then she looks at me, but does nothing.
"I didn't ask you." She says.
"You didn't stop me either." I say.
"Simp." Kamva whispers as she walks past me. I laugh then she looks at me and laughs too.
"Fuck off." I say then she laughs and carries on walking.
I look at Thandile and she has her arms folded. Yah, the things we do. "So what. You take my books so we can walk in silence?" She asks after a while.
"Well that's up to you. I'm cool with anything." I say.
"Aviwe, why are you trying so hard for whatever this is to work?" She asks pointing between the two of us.
"Well because you stopped speaking to me cause you had or have a crush on me. So I'm wondering, why would you do that cause that should be the perfect time to pursue me." I say.
"Cause I don't force things." She says then I nod my head.
"Ayt, but thing is I never said ion like you. I just don't wanna be in a relationship. So why you taking it like you got rejected?" I ask then she looks at me.
