There is a knock on the door then I slightly open my eyes. My mom comes in and I look at her.
"We leaving nhe." She whispers cause Thandi is sleeping. I nod my head then she leaves. I look up at Thandi as she is sleeping so peacefully. I quietly get up then she moves. I get out of bed and go to the bathroom to pee. When I come back she is awake.
"Ahhh, weren't you sleeping kanti?" I ask.
"I was. But a person can wake up when they don't feel the same weight on them anymore." She says. I lay down on my bed.
"Are your rents gone?" She asks.
"Yeah, my mother just came now and told me they're leaving." I say.
"Okay, the movie." She says then I nod my head.
"Ayt." I say then stand up and put on my shoes.
We go downstairs and get in the TV room. I give her the remote. "Lemme go make some popcorn nhe. What are you gonna drink?" I ask.
"Anything you have to offer." She says.
"Ayt, but bae, look nhe I'm just gonna do one joint then Imma come back nhe." I say.
"Can I also try?" She asks.
"Have you smoked before?" I ask.
"No." She says.
"Are you sure?" I ask with a smile.
"Yea." She says then I nod my head.
"Ayt, let's go." I say then quickly go up to my room. I grab two already rolled joints and my lighter then go downstairs. We go outside to the back yard then sit down in the patio.
She sits on my thigh then I look at her. "Really?" I ask laughing.
"Yah, I wanna see if you really gym or you just playing around." She says then I look at her.
"I can carry you on my shoulders, this has nothing to do with gym. But anyways." I say then she looks at me.
I light the joint then take a long pull.
"I doubt." She says then takes the joint from me. I'm not gonna argue with her.
"So what must I do?" She asks.
"Okay, so first you wait your turn, so basically until the J is passed to you." I say then she looks at me.
"That's the most important one for me. Patience nhe." I say.
"Okay, sorry." She says giving it back to me.
"Nah, it's fine. Second thing is you put it in between your lips then pull." I say then she nods her head.
"Then you suck in then breath out." I say.
"Now try." I say looking at her.
"Wait first show me." She says giving it to me then I laugh.
I take it. "Are you sure you wanna do this?" I ask.
"No. But I think I do." She says then I arc my eyebrow.
"Aii, babe just leave it. Cause I don't want it to feel like you are peer pressured to do it." I say.
"But I don't feel peer pressured. I want to." She says then I pull.
"You just said you weren't sure." I say.
"Yah, nevermind. I'm sure now." She says.
I give her the joint then pulls. As she breaths out she coughs. I look at her and rub her back.
"You good?" I ask, but she carries on coughing. I give her some time until she stops.
"You need water?" I ask then she nods her head. She gets off from on top of me then I stand up and go to the house and get some water from the fridge.
I go back outside then give her the water. I sit down then she sits on me again. My hand goes around her back then I take the J from her. We smoke it together, then finish it. I light the other one, but smoke this one by myself.
"How are you feeling." I ask after five minutes of sitting outside.
"I'm still fine." She says.
"Ayt, but now we must change, cause we deadass smell like weed." I say then we get up and go to the house. We go to my room then she changes and I do the same. I put on my black T-shirt, black Jordan sweatpants, black champion beanie and my black Calvin Klein slides.

When we finish we go downstairs then we make the popcorn and I grab a bottle of water for myself and pour her a drink. We go to the TV room then put the stuff on the coffee table. I lay down on the couch then she lays down on top of me.
"Bruh, you clingy." I say.
"No, you just comfortable." She says then I scrunch my eyebrows and look at her.
"What?" I ask letting out a small laugh.

The movie finishes then I look at the time. It's six then look at Thandile. "I gave up tennis to be with you." I say then she looks at me.
"Thank you." She says kissing me. I shake my head.
"Anyways let me take you home. It's school tomorrow." I say.
"Ohhh yah." She says then I laugh.
"Ohhh yah." I say then she laughs.
"Let's go." She says getting up then I stand up right after. We put on our shoes then she goes to my room and gets her stuff then comes back down. I grab the car keys then we go to the car.
