KAMVA'S POV
I'm in bed just chilling and watching TV. Waiting on Olwethu to call so I can find out what the fuck happened and sleep.
Like when and how the fuck did all this happen in a short space of 15 minutes. I'm confused, Aviwe isn't talking to anyone and isn't even doing anything. Even now we left her in the theatre cause she didn't feel like coming upstairs.
And I know Aviwe wouldn't just leave Thandile in a blink of an eye, even an argument couldn't break those two apart, so someone explain-
Olwethu calls then I answer.
-Yohhh, was your phone in your hand?
-Actually yes. I've been waiting for this call.
-How are you?
-I'm good. You good. Aviwe and Thandile. What happened?
-Straight to it. Cool.
-Yesss. Aviwe is a mess. And I need to help her cause you know more than anything she has an upcoming tournament and she can't play when she's like that.
-Eish okay. So things were said, like baby, things that even I couldn't take. Hayi, I've never seen them like that. I finally understand why Aviwe said she was in a toxic place in her life, she was talking her mind at that point, the first thing that came to her, she didn't care how it would make Thandile feel... And Thandile is just as guilty cause she also said things. That provoked Aviwe anyways so I just think Aviwe reacted like anybody else would. Hayi mina baby, I don't know anymore. A miracle will save this relationship.
-What's the worst that was said?
-Alot babe. Thandile said Aviwe's always running away from her problems, what Aviwe was doing to protect her was actually turning her into the person Aviwe is trying to keep her from, they swore at each other... Then there's Aviwe, indirectly telling Thandile to go die.... Eyyy baby, alot. Alot. Like alot.
-Yoh. Hayi. Hayi andsazi at this point. I'm defeated. So who was in the wrong?
(Yoh. Nah. I don't know anymore at this point. I'm defeated. So who was in the wrong?)-They both were.
-Who started. Who provoked who?
-I'd like to think Thandile provoked Aviwe. I don't know, stepped out for a sec and they were insulting each other.
I let out a sigh and just shook my head.
-Uphi uThandile?
(Where is Thandile?)-I told her to go talk to her mom. I'm- I don't know how to deal with this entire situation, I don't wanna advice her on what to do cause her mother most probably knows better. And I can't advice her on shit I've never been through, or seen. I'm just here for support.
-Do me a favour nhe.
-Yeah?
-Call Akhona. Uhhh, she's the one person I know who can calm her down, and I guess we'll see tomorrow. I just don't want Aviwe getting distracted right now. So let them have their space for now, then they'll find each other when they find each other.
-Okay, I'll hit her up.
-Yeah, anyways, back to us. Unjani. Haven't seen you in a while?
(Unjani - how are you?)-I'm good. I guess, I don't even know. Before all of this, I was great, but now my friend is not okay, and andsazi. I don't know babe, I don't know.
(Andsazi - I don't know anymore)-Yeah, tell me about it. From my side the night started off great till this call. Yahhh. So did they break up?
-It came up, but they didn't agree on it.
-Yoh, and now there's nothing else to talk about cause these two are going through the most.
-Eish babe. And I don't wanna talk about it.
-Same. Let's just refresh ourselves and go sleep. We'll talk tomorrow?
-Yeah, I agree. I love you.
-I love you more.
She hangs up the I put my phone on the pedestal. I stare at the ceiling and just start shaking my head. Yohh, okay. Yah no, yah okay.
Yohh hayi, let me go sleep. This is alot.
