I wake up in the morning tired as hell. Deadass not in the mood for school. I lay down in my blankets for a minute till I'm disturbed. There's a knock on the door then the person comes in. Why didn't I lock my door again.

"Aviwe. Wake up." My mother says when she's in.

"Ma?" I ask groaning.

"Wake up." She says then sits down on my chair by the study desk.

"Okay mama." I say sitting up.

"Are you gonna wait for me?" I ask looking at her.

"Yes. I wanna see you shower then I'll leave." She says then I just stare at her.

"Wait, you serious?" I ask.

"Dead serious." She says. Ahh damn.

I get out of bed and go to the bathroom. I brush my teeth then undress and get in the shower.

I get back in my room and see my mother made my bed. Thank God for that.

I go to my closet and put on a sports bra and underwear.

I put on my Jordan sweatpants, blue sweater and black and blue Jordans.

I brush my hair then put on cologne. I put on my NASA beanie, grab my phone then go downstairs.

"Molweni." I say then sit down.
(Goodmorning)

"Viwe." My dad greets back.

"Oh and thank you for making my bed mama." I say to my mom.

"Welcome." She says then finishes up breakfast.

I get to school and go to my friends. They're all there surprisingly.

"Sho guys." I say.

"Why you sound like you tired?" Kamva asks.

"Cause I didn't wanna come to school, and I'm tired as hell." I say then they laugh. I don't know what's funny, but okay.

"Why didn't you sleep early?" Aya asks.

"Cause Ntando decided to call me at ten then that was just a long ass call." I say.

"Anyways bruh, we were talking nhe..." Aya says then I wait for her to finish.

"We thinking of letting our hair grow then do dreads." She says. I look at her for a minute waiting for some turn but nothing.

"I never agreed to that." Kamva says.

"Yah me neither." Zuko says.

"Okay, Siya wena?" She asks.

"I prefer short hair, but I'm flexible." She says.

"Aviwe?" She says then I shake my head.

"I'm good with my brush cut." I say.
