Prompt: y/n is friends with Eli and Demetri pre cobra kai and she meets MIguel with them and then she and Miguel go the the dance together and become a thing

A/N: I'm finally writing a whole one shot for Miguel lmao

I was sitting in the cafeteria with my friends Eli and Demetri when the new kid walked in and was staring wistfully at the popular girls.

"Bro you gotta stop drooling, they don't even realize you exist." Demetri said, getting his attention. I elbowed him in the ribs and said,

"Ignore Demetri, he's an ass. I'm y/n."

"I'm Miguel," The new kid smiled shyly and I gestured for him to sit with us.

"As you probably guessed that's Demetri and that is Eli," I said, gesturing to the boys, "welcome to the loser's table."

"Thanks," he chuckled and sat down next to me with his food.

We chatted as we ate our food and Miguel easily became a member of our little group.

*time skip to a few days later*

Miguel and I have been hanging out more without the guys, and I'm starting to think I'm catching feelings for him, but I'm not sure if he feels the same. Today we're at my house watching movies and playing board games, I just kicked his ass at monopoly.

"No fair," Miguel complained, "how do you keep beating me no matter what game we play?"

"I guess I'm just that good." I shrugged and started putting away the pieces.

"I guess so," He winked and started helping clean up.

"What do you want to do next? We could play another game or we could watch something."

"Uhh what other games do you have?"

"Uno, Life, Sorry, I think there's a chess set somewhere, Connect Four, Clue; any of those sound good?"

"How about Life?"

"Sure, I'll go grab it!" I went to the hall closet to put monopoly back and grab Life before quickly returning and sliding into my seat on the ground next to him.

"Alright, I should warn you, I'm pretty good at this game so this could be the time I finally beat you."

I laughed, "that's unlikely, but whatever helps you sleep at night."

"You know what, it does so shut up." He fake pouted and I couldn't help but laugh.

We started playing and as we started to have to make life choices Miguel spoke up,

"I've actually always wanted to be a dad."

"Oh?"

"Yeah, I mean mine obviously isn't around anymore, but I just really want to do the whole marriage and kids thing. I don't really know why but it's always kinda called to me, not that that's anytime soon, I want to finish high school for god's sake but eventually, when I meet the right person I want to settle down and start a family."

"That's actually really sweet, I feel pretty much the same. I don't particularly want a lot of kids, maybe one or two but I like the sound of having my own family."

"Yeah, I don't want a ton of kids, honestly I don't think I could handle more than three, even with my partner's help."

"I feel that, kids are a lot of work so I definitely couldn't handle raising that many of them."
