Chickie Nuggies (Hawk)

Prompt: eating chicken nuggets together on a date and then kissing? Anyways, request for @WeeTriplesawesome I thought it was cute and decided to write a quick little blurb for it before I went to sleep

I was rushing around the kitchen trying to make dinner before my boyfriend got here but I was failing miserably. I'm not a great cook and this was quickly becoming a disaster. I somehow burnt the spaghetti noodles and the sauce was orange?? I'm beginning to think this is inedible, oops.

I heard a knock on the door and ran to answer it. As I flung the door open I crashed right into Hawk's chest.

"Woah there y/n, are you okay?"

I started to word vomit as I tried to explain the situation, "I was trying to make dinner but I burnt the noodles and I don't even fucking know what happened to the sauce and HOLY SHIT THE BREAD IS STILL IN THE OVEN!" I ran inside to get it out and as I opened the oven door, the kitchen filled with smoke and soon we were both coughing as he opened up the windows and turned on the fan.

"Jesus Christ, you weren't kidding when you said you barely knew how to cook, how about we make something else? Together this time."

"Okay, that sounds good, you probably shouldn't let me do too much or we might ruin more food. You can pick what we make but I'm not sure what all we have because I need to go to the grocery but we can make whatever you find."

"Promise?"

"That's a weird request but sure, I promise we can make whatever you find for dinner."

He ran to the freezer and pulled out a giant ass bag of dinosaur chicken nuggets and with the biggest shit eating grin on his face he turned to me,

"Let's have these!"

"You are a child."

"But you love meee"

"I do now hand over the nuggets Hawk."

He handed the bag to me so we could read the directions and he preheated the oven. We counted out our nuggets to put them on a tray and then he put them in and set a timer.

While we were waiting I helped him bring in the board games he brought over to play and we got some drinks out and started a game of uno. When the timer went off he went and checked on the nuggets to make sure they were done before taking them out and putting them on some plates. He handed me mine and we sat on the floor to play cards and eat our fucking dinosaur chicken nuggets like children but it was hands down one of the best dates we've ever had.

"Hey babe?" I turned to look at him and wait for a response.

"Yes love?"

"This is really fun, I think we should make a new tradition."

"Wait for real?"

"Yeah for real, I like just sitting here with you."

"I love you y/n."

"I love you too."

I leaned over to kiss him and he pulled me into his lap, running his hands down to my waist. We sat there for a long time before either of us moved, and well, let's just say we forgot about the dino nuggies pretty quickly.

A/N: pretty short but I thought it was a cute prompt so here you go, I hope you liked it! I'm gonna go back and add Moon to the imagines so be on the lookout for that as well as a bunch of Hawk requests I got, the next one up is Miguel but after that I have 2-3 for Hawk.
